About

Financial calculator that quickly calculates how much of each asset to buy or sell. No more manual calculations or spreadsheets. Simply set your target allocation, update the amounts in your portfolio, and let AlloCalculator tell you what you need to change. FAQ: What is the "Diff" column on the home screen? It's the point difference between your target allocation and your existing portfolio. So, if you target 50% stocks but 60% of your portfolio is stocks, the "Diff" column will be 10%. What are the colors in the Diff column on the home screen? They are a quick indicator of how far off of your target allocation your current portfolio is. A difference of more than five points is colored red, 4 or 5 points will be yellow, and 3 or fewer points will be colored green. What are the "Willing to Buy/Sell" switches in the Add/Edit Asset page? Sometimes you may already hold assets that you aren't currently willing to buy or sell, such as for tax reasons. Marking those assets as unwilling to buy or sell will remove them from the buy and/or sell calculations when rebalancing.
