I’ve always been great at interviews, but getting there is the issue! I love the path that allUP is forging by essentially creating a video resume for each person, and I hope that more companies follow suit.
Good idea. Bad execution
The control you have over your application is even less. Zero communication and instructions unclear from the start which can make you look bad for potential roles. Multiple issues logging in. Mobile only access is dumb
Good strategy for finding professional positions
It is not used to anyone these days that searching for a job is toxic and depressing. I really like their approach of having you record videos so perspective employers can see you and get a sense of your perspective. I’m hopeful that this will lead to more contacts and less rejections.

Love this new way to connect talent to the workforce! The videos are a quick way for recruiters to scout talent. Very clever design!

I was so impressed with how easy the allUP app is to navigate to seriously upgrade your resume profile. Just follow the prompts to take your chances from a flat document to an insightful look as to who you really are.
Beyond the Resume
I like having an opportunity to add interview questions to my profile, helping myself and those hiring to get to know someone, instead of simply deciding from a resume.
Worse than workday. Cruel for applicants.
This platform is oppressive to the working class and equally unhelpful to companies trying to hire. Every listing stays open for months, so best case it’s 10x slower to hire, and about 100x longer of an application process.
Also the “jobs” on here seem fake. What’s worse, the cofounders will email you directly to try to get you back to increase the average daily user numbers.
This isn’t a revolutionary way to apply (like they say) - it’s an express lane to filtering out applicants based on factors unrelated to their skills.
They need to stop trying to make “fetch” a thing.
They need to shut this app down, apologize to everyone that applied on it and send them gift cards for wasting their time and in hopes that law suits don’t come their way.
1 stars is too many. I would rather they start a text messaging scam business. Shame shame shame shame shame.

Video Cover Letter
It’s extremely refreshing to have the opportunity to express myself and my skills via video. I’m excited to be a part of Allups platform and what I hope is the beginning of a promising trend in the job market.
A complete dead end
This app feels like a joke. The videos to “help you” feel broken intentionally, and selling it as serious interview caliber. If I was a hiring agent, I’d pass over something this unprofessional.

To which the app doesn’t let you go back and chose different questions, or edit your answers (tough luck if you get brain fog or sneeze mid take)

New approach to interviewing
Using allUP is not only intuitive but breath of fresh air in the current job market. It actually was kind of fun to do the initial interview through the app. Great take on the stuffy process!

I thought this would be another corny 30 second video scheme, but allUP is so genuine, lighthearted, and inspiring. Just reading the prompt talk like you’re talking to a friend open me up to really market my skills and abilities. In today’s world where everyone puts their picture on social media with a caption to follow. All up has become the caption for job seekers.

BEWARE: AllUP Uses Fake Job Listings to Lure Users
AllUP uses deceptive tactics to get users on their app. They post fake job listings to lure people in, then require video submissions and create artificial engagement to keep users active. They even send misleading emails, suggesting that top brands use their service to encourage users to stay.
If their platform were truly valuable, they wouldn’t need to trick people into using it. The abundance of five-star reviews also seems suspicious.

Get recognized
I appreciate any extra leg-up in the job hunt process. Giving potential employees the opportunity to put a face to my name, and gain insight into me as a candidate gives me a huge advantage over other candidates. The market is tough, creative self-branding is essential.

Honestly I give it a try and recording videos seems like a great idea. But one company has even responded back to me for a job interview. Yes I get updates on the process but never beyond that. So far its been a waste of my time and doesnt really evaluate a persons ability by watching a 2 minute video clip answering a questions about the role. Its a great way basically swipe left or right. Im deleting this app.

Ghost job posting to get you to generate numbers avoid
This site is fake and they made fake job postings on indeed and LinkedIn to get you to download the app. There is no open employment . Theres not one review positive or negative about any one getting employed through this app.
They have there own employees for the app make fake reviews to deceive people into downloading the app!
