Almost Solved helps you search podcast coverage, compare episodes from different shows, open your choice in Apple Podcasts or Spotify, and save useful links and notes in private Research Files. FIND PODCAST COVERAGE Search by podcast, episode, host, case, person, location, or subject. Browse single-episode cases, long-form investigations, solved and unsolved cases, missing persons, updates, psychology, forensics, legal analysis, and local cases. Sort episode lists Newest First or Oldest First. CHOOSE YOUR PODCAST APP Choose Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Exact Apple Podcasts episode links are identified as exact. When an exact Spotify episode link is unavailable, the app clearly says Search in Spotify. Podcast audio stays with the podcast provider. SAVE WHAT MATTERS Add an episode to a Research File before leaving the app. Mark it Want to Hear, Opened, Finished, or Revisit. Add your own timestamp or note, then use Find It Again to return to the saved link and case context. COMPARE THE COVERAGE See podcast coverage connected to the same case and keep useful websites, source labels, dates, map context, timelines, and personal notes together. Supported links shared from Safari, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other apps can be added to a Research File. THREE RESEARCH FILES STAY FREE Choose one Location, one Missing Person, and one Serial Killer during onboarding. Those three starting Research Files and their saved work remain available without a subscription. FULL ACCESS An eligible App Store introductory offer or active subscription unlocks the full case and podcast catalogs, additional Research Files, timelines, maps, Find It Again, and export. Monthly, recurring 3-Month, and Yearly plans appear only when returned by the App Store. Prices, eligibility, billing periods, renewal terms, and Restore Purchases appear before purchase. PRIVATE AND SOURCE-AWARE Research Files and listening status are local by default. Almost Solved does not host podcast audio, copy article bodies, or claim access to Apple Podcasts or Spotify playback history, position, queue, or transcripts.
