Non-Operational Via WiFi

This app is supposed to connect to your home’s WiFi so you can monitor and control the DH remotely from anywhere. Great idea but the app and dehumidifier don’t work with iOS26. No doubt the interface relies on a server somewhere which isn’t maintained, so the app remains broken,
resulting in no remote control feature with the phone app. You “can” use “direct connect” which is useless (you have to be standing right next to the thing, just use the on board controls that point.)

AlorAir should be reported/investigated for jacking up the cost of their DHs to $1000’s claiming remote control that doesn’t exist.

It’s unfortunate they rely on Chinese manufacturing & app coding (with some menus still in Chinese!) instead of engineering and TESTING in North America to deliver a product, and app, that actually works.

Cannot get the app to talk to the dehumidifier.

I’ve tried every combination imaginable to get the app to connect to the AlorAir dehumidifier. Wi-Fi, Direct Mode, hotspot on, hotspot off, etc., but to no avail. The reason I got the WiFi model was so I wouldn’t have to drag myself into a crawl space to adjust the settings. Not thrilled.

BROKEN

This app worked great for the past few years. However, the last update broke it and now it launches to a blank screen and stays there. Junk. Useless. Who reviewed this before pushing it out? Please fix it asap.

Worthless

Like many others I spent a considerable amount of time trying to set this up. Watched videos made several attempts and nothing works.

Not worth it

Logging into the app is impossible

Unreliable

Keeps going offline. Have to start from scratch every week or two.

Moijpd

Unable to Login useless

Impossible to connect

Humidifier seems to work fine but the app simply will not connect in any mode. I even was going to try an android device rather than an apple device and the app is not even available any longer on android. Don’t waste your money on the WiFi/app connected device because you simply cannot connect to it.

Very confusing to use.

To get it set up is a nightmare. The developer did not test in UAT before releasing to the public. Spend good money on a machine but company spend no money on app developers.

Complicated setup

Initially I struggled to get the WiFi feature working (like the other reviewer) but then I followed the instructions on the included foldout, and it worked! You have to press a special combination of buttons and other things to get it to go into the right setup mode.

iOS Useless

As others have said, the software integration does not work at all.

Total crap

If you bought this for Wi-Fi capability, return it and run. It doesn’t even try to work. You will spend hours staring at your phone, and nothing will come of it. And good luck with customer service. They have yet to respond to me. Not worth a penny

How to make it work on Storm Pro

1. Load the lite version of the app
2. Follow instructions which ultimately fail as no Bluetooth connection appears
3. Turn back on the units wifi
4. Reload the original (not lite) app. Now you see the correct wifi hotspot name and the setup works.

Complete junk

The app is worthless. Don’t even bother to waste your time. It hasn’t been updated in two years.

Cannot get the app to connect

Just bought the crawl space dehumidifier and cannot get it to connect. We have tried to troubleshoot using different phones and nothing!

Terrible app

This app hasn’t been updated in over a year. It’s terrible and doesn’t work most of the time. It tells me there’s no internet connection, therefore it won’t connect. My internet provider is Xfinity and is almost bulletproof. Can’t tell you how long it’s been since my internet went down.

Do Not Buy

These products are junk. They do not remove anywhere near their advertised PPD & the “wifi” connectivity is absurd & most definitely does not work. On top of that, their app interface does not actually allow you to cycle thru multiple pieces of equipment. Buyer be ware — this is another lazy company doing shoddy work, Murica.

Not compatible with iOS 15 or 16

No updates in 2 years for this app, let’s get this fixed as it is a security risk to be running outdated iOS in 2023

works as expected - nice controls + app

Our original crawl space dehumidifier didn’t have a built in pump, or humidstat or the ability to be controlled remotely. This machine is light years ahead. Will post update after it has been running for a while.

Doesn’t work

Bought this to monitor crawl space remotely. Wi-Fi does not work. Wondering if it has any more than just a Wi-Fi mode. Don’t think it truly has the capacity to send a signal. Total joke.
