When I first got them they worked fine now my purple is blue. Don’t seem to work well in cold weather.

Needs scene customization
Spent 100$+ on this and it’s great yes but the scene application limits it’s uses GREATLY. Being someone who is electronically inclined I do not understand why they’d make the scenes limited. It’s not like the circuit boards have these scenes preselected and just switches between them: this is just inefficient and more costly electronically than having a programmable microcontroller which I hope is installed on these things so that updates will allow customization of the scenes

Waste of money if I can’t download the app
App isn’t letting me download it at all I have a iPhone XS Max so I know it can’t be the phone.
Y’all just don’t understand
I have this in my semi truck I think I am running 6 box’s in total this app is perfect u can control each and ever independent light hook to each inlet so let me clarify if u have 1 box u can run 4 colors on the 4 box once u get into multiple box’s u want to label which is a option as well it’s all on what u want it to be I wish I could post a picture cause if u saw the way this is set up in a semi truck u would love it

Alpena LED
I bought the strips for my Jeep, due to a Jeep meet I had attended and wanted to look cool ! Keep In mind cost was roughly, $100.00. Installed works great ! I really enjoy them and like showing It off. However, It’s only been a couple months and sometimes I can’t even turn off the lights. I have to constantly restart the app and still nothing happens. It’s come to the point, where I have open my hood and unscrew the nut, as It’s connected to my battery. It’s a little Inconvenient, because I have to do this quiet often. Is there anywhere else I can connect the wires to that will help turning off and on ?

Used to be able to pair up multiple LEDs, not anymore
In older versions you were able to pair up multiple LEDs, like for example if you had two or more Pods, you can connect to all of them at once and change the brightness of all of them at the same time. Now, with the new update it won’t let you do that anymore. Shame we can’t downgrade.
Total junk
App won’t connect. Lights work great. But assuming that everything was gonna work as it should I hard wired mine into an accessory in the back of my suv which meant I had to put the remote back there as they only give u about an inch of wire for locating the remote. App won’t connect. So now I guess I have to tear it all out and start over. Probably just take it back and buy a real set from a reputable company.

Great product
Great product overall for me. Hopefully one day they allow you to make your own scenes or add more lighting options
Won’t connect
They connected with the app the first couple times but since then have failed every time. I open the app and press the correct LEDs but they won’t connect. They have power and my Bluetooth is on but it says could not find device. Please help bruh I dropped a bag for these.
Disappointing
I just got my LED lights today. i have been trying to connect my phone to the bluetooth and the app keeps saying the device cannot be connected. i have turned my bluetooth on and off many times and tried all different outputs in my car. all outputs are 12V just like the device needs however it is still not working. i was really looking forward to these lights but for as much as i paid i’m very disappointed.

Alpena led interior commander
Overall the app works. I've only had the kit a day so I will update my review in the future if anything changes. So far the led's themselves are good quality however the adhesive would not sticky to anything. Had to use double sided tape to get the lights stuck anywhere on my car. As for the app itself, it works. The grouping feature is nice, the controls work and the colors are bright and accurate. Some requests for the app thogh. The ability to make custom scenes would be great. Also the ability to use my phones mic as an input source to sync the lights to music would be even better.

NOTICE: The following review is on my experience with the app using the LED Interior Command lighting kit and the lighting kit itself.
The app works as intended and sometimes causes a channel I’m changing to turn off, making me close the app and open it again to fix the problem. I’d also like for there to be a possibility to have more than 4 channels since 4 doesn’t let you do much. I like the “scenes” in the app which are pre-made which makes a channel cycle through different colors, but you unfortunately cannot change the scenes or make your own scenes, yourself. The app is also a little confusing at first, but is easy to use after 10 or so min in the app. I expect that these things should be easy to fix—and I hope that these things are changed, given I paid $100 for my setup—so it would be great if there would be an update addressing these things.
To sum up: there’s a bug that sometimes turns off the channel your changing, there is a limited number of channels, you can’t make your own scenes and the app is difficult for new users to understand right away.

This app does not currently work with this version .... have had and used this app since Oct 2019... updated my phone today with v 13.6.1 and no dice.......

Avoid updates
I’ve had my lights on my truck for over a year now and I did an app update and now they will not work at all. Also I would like to see a Red,White,and Blue option.
