I tested this app for day hikes, at home overnight use, and for a multiple-day backpacking trip where I used my phone for photos, GPS, and Bluetooth streaming music to earbuds. I was impressed almost to confusion with how little my battery drained while the Hiking and Alpine modes were engaged. The ability to customize each mode to your own preferences is particularly useful. Thank you!

Game Changer
Currently hiking the CT and this app has saved me tons of juice. I no longer need to turn my phone off, making it easy to check FarOut, etc. Recommending this to all my friends.
