Missing Words

Good app but difficult to read English translations

I do not understand why all these apps use the funny biblical English with words like thee, thou and hath. This makes it so hard to read and understand and there is no reason why this funny language is needed for any religious text just because they use it in the Bible.

Quran app

Very good app easy and simple to use jazakallah khair

English Audio required

English Audio is needed. Excellent quality English Audio is extremely important. Thank You.

Very good app

This is a very good Qur’ann app if you want to listen to Arabic and English audio of the Qur’ann. I do wish there would be a choice to select repetition of the surah’s and aya/verses both in Arabic and English.

Outstanding...!

An app where all good translations by eminent translators have been compiled together.

I would only suggest that Ayat’s numbers in English be put alongside.

It is more easy

Great App

If you are looking for reading translation of Quran in English, this is the app. It had everything and is completely free unlike the others, which have ads or require subscription! Thanks to Devs and the team!

Excellent;high quality

Try it out....you will love it!…beautifully formatted & arranged_

Great up

Masha Allah great up very simple to use

Wonderful translation

The Quran ayat is in Arabic and translation in English to help understand what we are reciting in Arabic.
It has helped me understand more what the message of Allah is.
I know learning Arabic is the best way, but this translation helps a lot.

Perfect

Alhamdulilah! I am so happy I found this app. I have been looking for this audio translation everywhere, other apps offer similar ones but I can’t focus because they sound so robotic.

Pros:
- This app also allows you to listen to both the Quran and audio offline so without any internet (after you download it).

- It lets you choose the reciter and the translation (only sahih international has the audio option but for me personally that is the only one I understand as it uses modern English).

- You can leave the app and it still plays the Quran.

- It allows you to have bookmarks so you can next time you can start from where you left off.

- The layout is really nice and pretty (you can change the theme too) I really pray that the developer doesn’t stop updating it so that it’s still compatible with the new iOS versions when they come out (that’s what happened with a previous app that I loved)

- Lastly, unlike so many other apps, this is completely free.

Cons:
None :)

Hope this review was helpful.

A clear English translation & well laid-out app.

I downloaded a dozen Quran-in-English apps and deleted nearly all of them just as quickly.
Unlike other apps, this one does not use Old English (an archaic form no longer in use), it does not suddenly interrupt you with advertisements, and doesn’t require you to pay for more than 2 pages of translation.
The app has a simple layout, uses a modern yet precise English, and allows you to bookmark.
Being able to highlight key words or verses would make it a 5 star.

Thanks

Thank you very much. God bless you :)

Problems

Assalaamualaikum

I tried the app and had lots of problems. When I first attempted to download the Saheeh International translation, it would stop whenever my phone went to sleep. When I tried to resume, it wouldn’t and I had to start all over again (ultimately I needed to watch my phone to make sure it didn’t sleep until the download finished).

After that I tried to download the Abdur Rahman As Sudais recitation. I watched my phone closely and it eventually downloaded. But I still can’t listen because for the past 24 hours it has just said “preparing audio.”

I don’t know, maybe it’s my phone or location or something. But I haven’t been able to listen to any Quran =(
