What is the app for
I was thrilled to find this speaker for my husband around Christmas and ended up loving it so much I bought one for myself. I love the sound quality and it works wonderfully as a regular, no frills speaker. The app crashes every time I attempt to connect my husband’s and I’s speakers to either of our phones at the same time to use the biggest draw feature which was playing one phones music on two speakers at once. Upon realizing that wasn’t possible because the app crashed at every attempt we were both extremely disappointed and if I had paid full price we would have gotten refunds and returned them. Also the lights have to be turned on in the app every time, the colors and patterns are not customizable in that there are presets and that’s it. I have kept the app so far but only because I’m holding out hope for updates.

Poor quality
The mount and speaker have a nut and bolt style, threaded mechanism for attachment. Unfortunately, the two are different sizes and cannot be used together. In other words, the screw won’t attach to the nut because the screw is too small. In addition, as a previous review states, the “warm up” feature does not work even though I followed all the directions. To top it all off, the app closes itself after a few minutes and must be relaunched to continue using its features.

Useless
The ONLY thing this app is good for is to change the colors on my speaker. No power on/off etc, and the volume is very inconsistent. I’m uninstalling now.
The app lies and tech-support is uninformed
I might honestly return my speaker after the stupidity that I’ve been running through. The app says that it has a “warm up” audio file it can play to wear in the speakers to a more idealistic configuration, but the app refuses to play it even after I follow all the directions. I tried calling the tech-support number that the app says to call, but the call center was completely unhelpful and didn’t even think that this “warm up” button was even a feature (she even kept telling me that you dont need to download an app, which… no duh, I’m not just trying to connect the speaker, I’m trying to use a feature only found in the app). Honestly, don’t download the app and don’t bother buying these speakers, just pay the extra $30-$60 and get a JBL since that app and product actually works 🤦♂️

I could even register my MINILIFEJACKET IMW475NBOX-BLK as the speaker family was there but my speaker wasn’t there. The box included the QR code for this app and it was pointless. The app doesn’t support this speaker - why would you include it?

Speaker quiet
Bought the speaker and it’s very quiet at max volume. Required to run a “warm up” file but the file is not working on the app. Customer support advises to run speaker on full volume to warm up manually. Ran it for 6 hours with no change then they tell me to wait for the app fix for the warm up file. Already waited two weeks. Who ever heard of warming up a speaker?!

Same Old Same-useless app
So this app is the one that comes within the box’s QR code. I was so excited when I was going to open the box and scan the code since my Omni jacket had a short… why is this the exact same as I remember it back then, and it reminded me of why I deleted the app with the 1st one. Simply put-it’s out of date, lacks features of devices & purpose. All that I got out of the download was the links to their UPDATED plate forms. Besides this app I’m still loving the quality of their products so I’ll just delete the app and go follow them and support else.

Was hoping for a equalizer of some sort maybe some settings but nothing, using a speaker that has a bass crackling to it so was hoping to be able to adjust it. Definitely not buying this brand again

Stay far away from this app. It doesn’t function and is only used as a Trojan Horse to capture your personal information. Run FAR away !

Embarrassingly Bad
What an awful application to tell new customers to download. Doesn't have the features the box and paperwork claimed it does. Looks abandoned and the FAQ don't even match my speaker. Looks like they copied and pasted from a different one.

Doesn't connect / recognize my speaker even when connected to Bluetooth and granted the permissions. So nevermind the "speaker break-in" function.

What?
Brand new speaker from Target includes in the box a QR code link to the app. Download the app, not applicable to my model speaker. Do you even know what you’re doing?

As far as I can see this app does nothing other than gathering personal information. I just purchased some cheap AL earbuds and was assuming the app would let me fine tune them or at least see the controls. It does nothing like that, or if if does, not for me. Waste of time.
