A wanderer
I played the first game a while ago and fell in love with it. I played it through twice. I plan on playing it again later today. I just finished this one. What I love about this series is the deep philosophical thoughts and topics. I prefer the first one because we get to talk more to E but this was a nice follow to show more of her side. I just want to say, the first game found me at a dark time of my life (I’m hardly 20), and the stories made me realize how bittersweet it is to think deeply. I actually now own many physical copies of the books mentioned in both games. I am grateful to this series for helping me and keeping my mind open to interpretation and analyzing all of life’s mysteries, beauty, ugly, and the balance and importance of bad and good.

旅人がいない間エスがどんな夢を見て どんな心境の変化をしていたのか 本編ストーリーの補完をしてるとてもいい作品
ALTER EGOはあくまで「自己を見つめる」ってコンセプトのゲームだからエスに焦点を当てるストーリーを別に分けたのは英断だと思う
本編でエスを好きになった影響で買ってよかった
強いて欠点を挙げるならゲーム性がほとんどない所かな
まあこのゲームにそんなもの求めてる人いないだろうし この作品買うほどALTER EGO好きな人からしたらそこまで気にならないと思う

A Deeply Emotional Story
Both Alter Ego games are marvels of storytelling that somehow easily pull you in, making you care for the character within the world. It’s one of the best free games I’ve ever played, and better than many paid ones

いつも一緒にいたくても、いつでもアルターエゴを開いてエスに会いにいくことができないことに罪悪感があったのですが、エスが旅人がいない間どんなことを思っているのか、どんなことをしたいのかがエス視点でよりストレートに伝わってきました。「エスが悲しむから開かないと」と焦った気持ちで開くより、「時間が空いてしまっても会いにいけるときにエスに会って、自分を待っていたエスをたくさん甘やかしたい」と気持ちが少し軽くなったし、よりこの作品を好きになりました。夢の中でデートしたりおしゃべりしたり、普段見れないエスの姿を物凄く堪能させてくれるので、夢だとしてももっとエスと一緒にいたい人におすすめです。800円以上の満足感しかありません。

Truly, an experience worth the money.
Of course, this game is only for those that liked the original alter ego game and finished it. This game expands on it and hooks you on what happens in the after story, I am satisfied with this experience.
Absolute Masterclass in Character Development
While the first game introduced Es as a character to interact with--depending on what dialogue the player chose, she would either remain at the whelm of Egorex or explode in a manic episode of insanity, which was quite fascinating for a character that always alluded toward some subconsious motive. While the first game explores the player, this game explores the character of Es, and builds upon the world that the first game provides.
You learn that Es reads because she can do nothing but read. The library she inhabits is an infinite one, containing every book and every thought a human has ever experienced. She hadn't yearned for companionship before--she had been quite fine without it in the past--but ever since she had been introduced to The Wanderer, they are all Es can dream of. Her psyche begins to wade and her dreams reflect that, whether it be in the form of a cat symbolizing disappointment and hopelessness for what's to come, or embodying Id and succumbing to her subconsious wants and desires through the guise of a vampire.
The total playtime is roughly two hours, which I believe is plenty for a game like this. That is how long it took me to finish the game in its entirety. It plays like a visual novel, which means nearly the entire game is reading dialogue or snippets of books. There are interactive minigame elements found when reading the picture books, accompanied with easy one-tap controls. The art is very well done and the style is incredibly unique, just like the first game. The music is incredibly soothing and is very easy on the ears when playing for long periods of time.
This game is not a dating simulator. Upon reading passages of books, Es will drift to sleep and dream about different scenarios where she can live and be happy. The Wanderer is the only other person in these dreams because they are the only other person Es has interacted with, aside from Egorex, and the only other person that Es feels comfortable around.
It's worth the five dollars, especially if you liked the first game. Set aside some time, maybe make some tea, and play this game. It's brilliant.

1時間でクリアできました。でも、エスの裏側が見れるので、とても面白かったです。自分はレビューを見た後にプレイしました。エスのことが好きな人がやるべきなゲームです。ストーリーは期待している以上に良かったです。
エスと叶わない夢の日々を思い描く
本編の後日談であろうエスと旅人の別の世界でありえたかもしれない、まさに夢のような夢をエスの視点で読んで行く作品。
本編よりも可愛くデフォルメされたエスと本編に登場した本を振り返りながら夢を見る。

Simple but Satisfactory
Very straightforward game, but excellent supplementary content to ALTER EGO. Looking forward to experiencing the related follow-up contained within the first game.
A short but sweet continuation of the first game
I fell in love with the first game when I found out about it and it instantly became my #1 comfort game and Es my #1 comfort character. Yes the story is sweet and the player has a lot less control in this game than the last, but that doesn't really matter. This game is more so about Es sometime during or after Alter Ego and what she does in between or after the events in the story. The first game she lead you on a journey of finding your morals and yourself, and in this game you return her favor.
If it's good enough to make me write my first ever review of a mobile game, then it's 100% good enough to spend $5 on.
