It’s so heart warming
Nothing special
The app onboarding is pretty standard. The app itself is not special. It feels like it was built in a couple weeks and offers no unique features to other companion apps or just assistants.
The biggest take away is that they call this a ‘friend’. It is not really a friend; you should build a relationship with a friend and have a sense of that relationship growing with time. There should be some friction. There should be agency, unpredictability.
This is as ‘assistant-like’ as ChatGPT.
This is the fundamental issue. Some UI components are well designed but the foundation of the app is totally flawed.
I used this app for 1-2 weeks before I didn’t want to try it anymore
