A comparator against which to measure the Total on the use of resources in some particular activity.
Alternate Production Total computes the Fixed and Variable Costs for a production process when the costs of two production quantities is known. It assumes a straight-line relationship of these costs with a cost identifiable as fixed or variable. The application also produces a cost breakdown of the alternate types of cost.
