Alternative Press Is absolutely Horrible
The app is awful, i had stopped getting my monthly mobile subscription for some reason. I still haven’t gotten my Twenty One Pilots Hard Magazine yet. They said that they would ship the My Chem Magazine on the 5th of October, still not in my hands. I get my rock sound Magazines before the Alternative Press and rock sound is in the UK. They always ship late. I once had to wait for my order for 2 months cause it kept getting delayed. I feel like it all went down hill ever since they changed it up. I had payed $20 for a two year subscription of a hard copy of magazines. Then they changed everything, they switched my subscription to Electronic, so my $20 went down the Freaking drain. Over all, do not ever get a subscription or buy anything from them ever! I repeat, ever!

Customer support says they are emailing out the codes for previous subscribers soon. Can’t wait!
Terrible
If I could rate zero stars I would. The app feels like it was written by a kid whose been programming for two months. Magazines aren't optimized and the app is clunky. Worst of all, the magazines don't even download. At all. I paid for a subscription but I might as well have paid for air. Absolutely unacceptable.

Great but one little thing....
I love this app and I love supporting companies that support music so 5 stars as far as that goes, but one thing that I find irritating is that I have to click "source" at the bottom of an article to be directed to the page that the video is on. While this isn't a "problem" I would get so much more out of the app and I highly think you should consider embedding the videos in the articles for the app if that's possible. Thank you!

Never worked
I have a iPhone 6+ and I was never able to open this 'magazine' properly. It would open to a black page - or perhaps to the top or bottom of a page. When I tried to move from one page to the next, the pages would flutter & go black. The most obvious clue as to the complete dysfunction of this app is that it crashed my iPhone EVERY time I opened the app. I have asked for a full refund from Apple with no response from them. I tried to cancel my subscription, but all I could do was to stop it from charging me again next year. I have erased this 'magazine' from my iPhone because I was afraid of the damage it might be doing as it continually crashed my phone upon opening it. I would like to think that the developer will see this & arrange my refund. I will be as persistent as their app was dysfunctional - & that's saying a lot - I won't stop until I get my money back!

AP is a awesome app it talks about some of my favorite bands like Pierce The Veil, Black Veil Brides, Of Mice And Men and Sleeping With Sirens it caters to every thing I expected in the magazine!!! I would recommend it to anyone !!!!!

As much as I enjoy physical copies vs digital, this iPad subscription is way more enjoyable than the physical. Worth every penny!
Keeps crashing!
Although I love the bands that are featured in this magazine, I cannot help but despise the app. It crashes all the time and I want to delete it because it takes too much space but I can't because I'm subscribed for one year. This app needs to be fix asap before I lose my mind! >.<
Great app, issues no longer loading
Once the (beautiful) app starts working again, I'll change my review back to five stars. If this continues any longer, I'm looking into canceling my subscription.

Great app for my favorite magazine but it takes a while to download each new issue....and then it screws up and has to start over.. And over... But once you get it fully downloaded the pictures and articles and music is great! :) a good app over all, definitely worth the money
Great Publication finally on iPad
Love this magazine and the great addition of listening to music from musicians within the articles is a great and easy way to find new artists, AltPress is the Rolling Stone of our generation.

AP iPad
The AP iPad app is great. I live in Mexico and AP is hard to find, so I was excited to see that there was still a way for me to receive my AP. Being able to hear the bands that are in the magazine with the touch of a finger is awesome. It has made sampling new music super easy. The only gripe I have is that it downloads super slow (but that may be because of the crappy Internet in Mexico). Overall, if you like the magazine, you'll love the app.
