Paywall Trap for Basic Features Locked Features, Misleading Access — Not Worth It
I downloaded AltFINS hoping for a functional crypto screener, but the app is extremely limited. Even on the paid Basic plan, I couldn’t set up simple EMA 20 and EMA 55 crossovers — a basic technical analysis feature. The app forces you into their most expensive tier just to unlock essential tools. This feels like a bait-and-switch, leading users in and then upselling heavily for features that should be standard. For traders who need real scanning flexibility, look elsewhere.

Momentan ist diese App meiner Meinung nach leider überhaupt nicht zu gebrauchen. Zu viele Bugs und vieles funktioniert nicht richtig.

The quality of data inside AltFINS is excellent. No other service I have seen comes close. The documentation is great. The emails with trading tips are great too.
However, the Web app and the mobile app need UI updates to make them easier to use.

AltFins is a hidden gem
I’ve been with them for a year now and hands down their signals and news aggregation are the best that can be had. I don’t understand why more people don’t use their service. The app needs some work, this is true but it’s going to get better - I’m along for the ride!
