Confused…

This app has me confused. I was looking for a CarPlay altimeter widget for my Ford with Sync 3, so I bought a license for this app to use on my iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 27. Issues in no particular order: app display language is a mix of German and English. Why is default peak >9,000 ft? Can’t really figure out how to set it up. What is altimeter Pro? App seems to take over my iPhone; I’ve had to delete the app twice to restore phone operation. I really just want the basic widget; have no need for any other data or analysis.

Bonjour, merci pour votre retour ! La traduction française complète est prête et sera disponible avec la prochaine mise à jour 4.8.8, dès validation par Apple. Les réglages, les textes d’autorisation et les raccourcis Siri sont maintenant localisés en français.

Small widget

Yours was the only application I found that supported widgets. Unfortunately the small widget is needed to support CarPlay widgets. The current wide widget doesn’t work. Just take your iPhone widget and display the only current altitude.

It’s a great phone app but…

It does exactly what I want on my phone but I really want it for my watch. My Apple Watch 10 will only display In metric. I can select measurement units and unit speed but I cannot change either to US measurements.

If this still happens, please email me at mail@bernhardhering.de with your app and watchOS versions and which screen stays in metric. I’d like to understand exactly where the setting gets stuck.

Hands-down the best altimeter app out there. I tried so many and only this one allows to show real time altitude on the widget page. On the history page, if we click the green dot, it should direct us to the associated altitude and its data. That’s the only suggestion. Thank you!

Watch Complications

Great app! But I do have a suggestion… instead of fancy graphs showing in the middle complication on the watch can we have ONE LARGE number that will represent the elevation??

First of all, thank you for your reviews and the great rating. This helps a lot! Thanks for the hint. I just checked the settings for units in the widget and fixed it.

A complication capability

Just what I was looking for! I’m using this altitude app as a complication on my watch! Only one minor issue, the normal display before I push the complication is expressed in meters, in spite of the fact that I have selected feet. Not sure how to make it show in feet!

Okay but not fully functional

Two apps work okay, however the altimeter won’t download on watch - the only reason I bought the package.

Great Altimeter App

This Altimeter app is the only one that I have found that have the complications update automatically for the Apple Watch. The developer is constantly working to make this app better and he is quick to respond to any questions you may have. Look forward to future updates.

Does not update itself on the watch

It does not update itself in complications. You have to “touch it” to obtain current reading several times because first couple of times always crashes!! Fix autoupdate and this is 5 star app!!

Can't get to work at all as complication

It just says 3281 feet all the time (I live at 840 ft). It never moves. The app doesn't show up anywhere on my iPhone settings to allow background use, so not sure how to do that. Doesn't work any different if you open the app.
