Hello and thank you so much for taking the time let me know about the optional subscriptipn catching you off guard, and I appreciate you letting me know and leaving a review. I want to make sure you know that this app is free to use including: -your current location -multiple clock themes -and notifications. You never need to pay to use the app with your own location. A subscription is only requested for optional extras, namely a handful of special premium themes, the global location search feature, and the good feeling of knowing you’re supporting this app and future development. The rest is yours at no cost. Thank you again for your feedback. I’ve also updated the app description to help inform others early. Thank you again.
