App continually cuts out
While using the app, when the screen goes to sleep so does the app. Also when you go to open any other app, even those that have no sound, the app will quit working. I’ve had to resort to the iHeart radio app to listen on my phone or through a web browser.

This new version is just plain junk. Have listened for years and typically older app was reliable, not anymore. This version crashes every 5-10 minutes. Useless.
Obviously They Don’t Care About Fixing the Bugs
I’ve been using this app in my car for years and years, griping and complaining because of the constant buffering, if it loads at all. I’ll listen to the Morning Answer on the way to my car, but when I get there, it buffers, and buffers, and buffers, and…MANY mornings I have to turn my phone off and start over, hoping it’ll load. I have to do all my settings before I go to the app because doing all that makes it buffer, and buffer, and… I’m on my 3rd car, so it’s not that. No other app gives me this headache. Now, as I read the reviews, that go back 10 years, that say the same thing makes it clear that Salem could care less about fixing anything. Salem, do better!

Frustratingly inconsistent
This app stops (buffers) and starts too frequently. When I open the app initially, an advertisement plays, usually louder. I am not sure why the additional ads are necessary when I already listen to the station ads. Incidentally, those extra ads play again when I’ve lost the station to buffering. The interface is also wonky (not mobile optimized?) so when the app ads play, they obscure the screen, and are difficult or impossible to dismiss without linking to the ad page and losing the app.
When I’m out walking I’ve been choosing to listen to podcasts instead.

Clear sound but drops off
My home AM radios no longer receive a clear reception of my favorite station (WHY??) so I got the app. Unfortunately, when I go outside to garden or feed the birds it drops off, and half the time won’t come back on! I have to remove the app and restart to connect again.
not ready for prime time
I wanted to stream a show. one click should have been enough but it wasn't. I hit several buttons, including one labeled "listen," but none of them worked & it was clear that there was a little loop that gave me some info, pix of hosts, etc., but no streaming. bye-bye.
Too slow to load
Just got tired of waiting for sound to appear.
Installed similar “Talk Radio” app, and the same program I was trying to hear on 870 came on immediately.
Like the programming content, deleted the app.

Good app - delivers!
I like the app, have used it for over a year and it performs as expected. The UI is a bit quirky — lots of things to accidentally tap on, but ultimately all I want is to hear the radio stream and it does that very well!

You listen to commercials during the programs which is fine of course however bombarding us every time we open the app is crazy. Now I will just wait to listen on SoundCloud later with NO commercials.

Horrible.
Constantly crashes and drops out plus you have to watch a 30 second commercial every time it opens. Because the problem with talk radio was not enough commercials.
Inconvenient, crashes, Extra & too many ads
The app can *always* play an ad at startup, but then can't play the content from the station. When it can, it plays the same %#^%#, uninteresting ad again every time you answer a call, use Siri or voice-to-text. Oh, and you have to reconnect to the content too.
There are only two ads; both for ERSOP and some other Dennis Praeger sponsor. If you use the app for more than about 30 minutes you will end up hearing the same stupid ad 20 times. Obnoxious doesn't begin to describe how bad this app is.

Constantly buffers
Love to listen to many programs on this station. Too bad it buffers and loses "reception" practically every other commercial break. Get to listen to the commercials, and then the content buffers.
