As with everything, the ads are continuous. Like every 15 seconds which is not ideal. No not paying 10 for ad free. I was kind of excited when he said his name was Sam, which is my name. However within seconds my amusement turned to horror as the other guy said his name was Joe. Joe is the name of my brother and that was enough to uninstall the game. I apologise but I couldn’t play it at all. Nothing to do with the game or developers. I’m sure the rest of the game is great 👍

I love this game so much apart from the ads and the fact that the main character, who’s gay btw, was forced into a straight relationship. Anyways this was the most life changing game ever i recommend.

Too many ads, storyline if you can even call it that doesn’t make sense, characters are inconsistent. This feels like a drunk man wrote this game for his own pleasure than for the queer community. Do better.
I gave up
Not only was the fact that there was an ad every other second was extremely annoying, the fact that you’re a gay character and the game of forces you to have a straight relationship and kiss a woman just didn’t sit right with me. I ended up stopping the gameplay and leaving this review. I just cannot devote any more of my time to this ESPECIALLY with the sheer amount of ads that come with this game and the fact that each ad repeat itself like eight times for 112 to 120 seconds is absolutely mentally jarring, then exhausting, then enraging.

Game forces you with the woman
I downloaded Am I Queer? Expecting a lighthearted or maybe even affirming experience centered on queer identity. Instead, I got a manipulative, uncomfortable mess of a game that feels not only misleading but outright homophobic. First off, the so-called “queer” storyline is a bait-and-switch. You spend the whole match dodging a forced heterosexual relationship that feels like you’re being coerced into it. It’s deeply uncomfortable and borderline SA coded the way your character is pushed into romantic or physical situations you don’t want. There’s nothing consensual or affirming about it. (Just say you're homophobic) Even worse, the actual gay content the stuff the game advertises to pull you in is locked behind a flood of ads. You’re constantly shown bait of a gay storyline or love interest, but every time you try to pursue it, you get slammed with more ads… only for nothing to happen. It’s manipulative and exploitative. The game pretends to be inclusive but ends up being grossly dishonest and hurtful.

The only problem is too manh ads tbh. I love this app though 😭😭 It’s like funny in a way? Because it comes off as a straight person trying so hard to be an ally and then they made this. This is not hate whatsoever, I loved this game soooo much. If there weren’t so many ads, I would’ve kept it!!

This game is a waste of time. Found it on TikTok and downloaded only for the game to have an egregious amount of ads. The game also constantly tries forcing you to buy VIP. The game itself has a decent story line but majority of the options within the game are already chosen for you no matter what you decide. Would not recommend.

Underrated Masterpiece
This thought provoking game has truly changed who i am as a person. To be honest, I had my doubts that this game will accurately portray the average life of a queer individual. But i was wrong to doubt this beautiful experience of a game. The story told between sam and joe reminds me of my younger days and a young queer. Yearning for a love that i didn’t think would exist, but in the end i found my joe and he found his sam. I beg to continue making more art as beautiful as this, because this world needs a little more pride.. Thank you.🌈🌈🌈🌈
