Essential navigation
I have been using Amap in China for sometime now. Originally I was using the Chinese version which I have to say is incredible but I struggle with Chinese so I switched to the global version. Recently it has been very glitchy it is out of sink with direction by 100 meters and is very laggy. The voice commands often say “in 0 meters” this obviously has caused me to miss turnings. Developers please can we rectify this.

Frustrating mobile registration
All registration routes lead to a mobile verification. If you do manage to get a verification code through you then get a screen saying ‘the current phone number does not support this login’.. it’s a UK number! All other validated account routes (like WeChat / Alipay where I have accounts) don’t help you verify either. A shame as the mapping is good.

Replace snowflakes on compass by normal letters (N/W/S/E) in English!
Please fully add Russia.
Please fix compass in cruise mode - it is always in Chinese language (with hieroglyphics), so make it in English!
Please improve indexing - many small cities and villages and streets are missed in Russia.
Voice in Russian and English also should be improved.

Can’t MUTE Voice navigation
PLEASE let me mute voice navigation in the Metro. It is disturbing to me and everyone else. Also, I don’t have a Chinese number. Either let me save to my WeChat account or stop prompting me to log in. Otherwise, 5-star app.
Not functional for US
App doesn’t allow US users to register with a phone number. All other methods eventually lead back to phone verification which does not work. Please take away the phone number requirement step and just use other methods instead.
