Graphics are overwhelming
Generally fine implementation of the Bomberman formula. I like the art style in the menus. But the background animations are way too much for me, the playfield is unnecessarily small (visually), and I wish I could see what items I currently have.

Can you guys(the devs) make it so that I don’t get stuck inbetween the bomb and the blocks it’s super annoying when I die because I get blown up by my own bomb.
UGH 🤬🤬🤬 UNPLAYABLE
The crazy changing background and the strange music makes me lose. It says I’m the winner 🏆 but I’m really not, I’m just the loser in 4th place 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I can’t even play because for some reason I look at the background and listen to the song more than I play. 😫 number 2, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THE MUSIC AND THE BACKGROUND?! It’s like a disappointment. it tricks you making you think you’re the winner 🏆 but you’re really not the winner. (Did I say that already?) I hate it and when I try to kill the others or maybe the score leader I always end up killing myself. or the other CPUs run away from my 💣. Anyway, this game is RIDICULOUSLY ANNOYING.

Bombed
Who thought this was a good idea? The game plays like a headache in an asylum. The wire boxes make it very hard to tell what’s going on and the lighting seems designed to provoke a seizure in the player. The rule changes make play chaotic and stressful in a bad way. The original Bomberman is one of my favourite games. This is not.

I love this game ever since I first started playing. It is my favorite mobile game however, my favorite PC game has to be Fortnite. I wish I could give this 10 stars. But anyway back to what I was saying I love the level up system. I have all of the levels and I love all of them. And I like playing with my brother, Flynn. Sorry my hands are tired from typing this lol, but and I was not expecting it it to be soooooo gooooooood! I love this game. I know I’ve already said that but give it not just stars, but I also give it five 💖💖💖💖💖s! If you guys like my review, I will make a second by the way.

Too many special effects
This game would be perfect if they went back to their roots and made it like Mega Bomberman without all of the special effects. All of the flashy lights and music is sensory overload and makes it unenjoyable. A simpler interface would be great.
No keyboard support on iPad yet?
I find it totally unacceptable that this game doesn’t support the Magic Keyboard after all this time. To be fair, the game looks quite abandoned with no updates in the last year... Uninstalling!

It's Bomberman, but not quite
It's great to see Bomberman on Arcade, but it's not as pure as you might remember from versions in the last 10-20 years.
Also, you cannot use a controller, despite other Apple Arcade games supporting controllers. Checking forums, the controller issue seems to be a problem with other versions of Bomberman too.

Why the dynamic backgrounds
There is no reason for the dynamic backgrounds. It makes it so hard to focus on the game. Just remove them and align the game play graphics to the old bomberman. If the dev. would do this it would be an amazing game.

Bomberman is such an old game with so many iterations, one would think you can't mess it up. So congrats to the person who said "let's make the game translucent and play a video behind the game". You did it!
(The setting that allows you to mess with the opacity of the video a tiny bit of is just insulting. Like you knew it was bad and did it anyway).

I think this is the best game I played Apple Arcade so far
Unplayable
After the tutorial there is no actual game to play just weird menus and a mission thing that doesn’t lead to actually playing what a tease because I love older bomberman games

I like the gaming experience… but I LOVE the meticulousness put into the audio experience- i like visuals, but its me coming aware of the song playing on the menu & connecting it to the subtle difference in instrumentals within certain menu subsets
Arrgghh my brain
This game is like some futuristic dystopian nightmarish idea of how the post TikTok generations will be entertained. The visual effects are insanely distracting. My brain plopped out of my ear after the first round, in a desperate attempt to escape and save itself from the vicious visual assault it had just been subjected to. I plan to sue, as soon as I book myself into rehab.
