I figured out how to get super high scores!!
Ok so I’ve had this game for a couple of months and it’s pretty fun I play it all the time… Anyway here’s how to get really high scores:
Step 1: PRACTICE, you won’t get anywhere with this game if you don’t practice. Yes it’s a stupidly hard game sometimes but keep trying😄
Step 2: MUSIC, put on like one of your favorite songs and just get lost in the song then you won’t be focusing on the game as much and after practice you’ll be an absolute GOD at the game..
Good Luck my fellow players and don’t give up because that’s what the game wants you to do lol have fun!!!🤩😄🌸

Been playing for about a year
No obnoxious ads, no annoying paywalls. No stupid cosmetics. Satisfying but frustrating to play, but extremely rewarding when you beat you high score. Been playing for about 2 years, just got my high score a couple days ago (69, amusingly enough)

Great game! Recommend
I love that this game is difficult and such a challenge, literally addictive. It has NO ADS even tho the game does have a page to pay for more ads the only thing close to an ad is the pop up which isn't a video, right when you open the app! Great game to play when bored and especially when on a plane ride for ride trip. My current score is 22 and I’ve only been playing for 12 hours. Absolutely recommend!

This game is amazing. A lot of ads these days are and I quote, “harder than it looks”. It’s so dumb. Then I play this game. It is quite difficult. It’s so simple and a wonderful challenge. I recommend playing if you are looking for a challenging game. Also, whoever says “this game isn’t hard enough”, they are totally wrong

Not bad.. but still a fun game!!! 😁
When I read the reviews I thought, this wasn’t a very good game to play. So I tried it out myself to see if it was really as bad as they say, and it wasn’t that bad! Yes it’s difficult, but not impossible. I think that this game is good for strategy and planing before hand. But I’m not really fond of the level that you are on keeps changing. So the planning before hand thing wouldn’t really work…. Overall I think that it’s an ok game and read the reviews first but it’s different for everyone!!!

I’ve been playing this game for years. It’s fairly mindless after you play it for a while. I went from getting a score of 3 to a score of 30 in a matter of days. It takes a while to learn the jumps and what you need to do, but when you do, it becomes really easy. It can be frustrating, but that’s kind of the point.

Stop complaining about the ads
So almost all of the complaint reviews are about the ads. And if you don’t know this, turn off the WiFi!! It’s not hard and the app doesn’t even need WiFi’ so stop complaining
Great game.
This game is like flappy bird except you can touch the bottom pillars. It is very challenging, but that makes this game fun. You have to actually time your jump, decide whether you should go lower of the highest you can. My high score is 59. Simple, fun, challenging, well made. Not exactly the most unique game, but 4 stars.

No ads!
This game is a fun game to play if you are waiting for something. It’s not complex which is satisfying considering the fact that most Mobil games have way to much unneeded things. My only problem is that you can’t unlock anything which makes the game a little boring. If you want a game to play all the the time I don’t recommend this, but if you need a game because you are bored or something I do recommend this game.

AMWAZWING!!!!
This game is so much fun! It doesn't have adds, its very challenging, and it requires a lot of strategy which i like.
The only things i think you could do better is maybe you could have different skins for the person, designs for the platforms you jump onto, and like a thing that like is passing you as you jump that would look kinda like this: 🏃♂️💨
Other than that, definitely get this game. Its the best game ever!!!

Listen this game is hella fun I got a score of 60 for my high score it really not that hard well hopefully people will get better cause I’m pretty sure I have a world record for this I so easy I get at least twenty every time yeah I just wanna let you know it’s not hard

This app is super hard but also really fun. This game makes it so you have to jump from between two blocks. If you get frustrated easily than this game wouldn't be for you but if you have patient you could do super well and if you're relaxed you can get at a higher level faster than if your not patient you will probably be bad for this game.

Challenging, but fun!
Hey there! A lot of people that have reviewed this app say it is too challenging... Although this game is somewhat tough, IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE! There are very few, to no ads in this app, which I love! I would love to see better graphics in this game, but I personally think they aren’t too bad. It is a great no-WiFi game to pass time on car trips, so I suggest you download!
After 3 weeks: I have downloaded a lot of adds in the past few weeks, which means that I also had to delete some... However, thief was one of the few games on my device that will most likely be staying there forever! This game is not that hard, so please do not listen to one star reviews!

I Don’t Even Know
Yo, this game, OMG. Like I don’t even know if it’s a 1 star or a 5 star game because of how unbelievably difficult it is, so I just have to give it 3 stars. Like whoever could score a 50 in this game could probably solve world peace. Yes, this game is harder than finding world peace. So if you ain’t able to solve world peace don’t download this game unless you love anger. This game is like landing on a hotel three times in a row while the your opponents land on free parking or community chest in Monopoly. This game will make you slap your grandma, and not because of how good it taste. Only play this game in an isolated area. Like you think it’d be simple enough. Just tap once or twice depending on where you jump from, but no it’s not simple. You better have taken College Algebra and Geometry then taught it to the generations below you before playing this game. This game put me through the 6 stages of grief. Usually there’s only 5 but this game created a new emotion, a new chapter, and new struggle in my life. Who made this game? Who in earth or hell made this game! No one will ever know.

Great game
I am a person who loves challenges. Believe me, this game is a challenge. I am at 25, but I a.m. continuously growing. Don’t give up on this game, it is super fun and a great mind game. I think it is a great game for those who just want an extra time game or wait in line game. That is why I give the Amazing Thief a 5 out of 5. P.S- this game has nothing to do with robbery or escaping police men.

Learn the concept of rising action and progression
The game is a fine proof of concept but fails on many levels. While I like the simple art it needs to at least nod toward the subject--what is jumping between blocks? Make it roofs and tunnels, pipes and ledges. Keep the simple graphic design but make the blocks into something! It could look cool, but doesn't.
The game starts at the highest (only) level of difficulty. If you want to make a game you need to understand basic game and progression theory. You hook people with rising action--start easy, then ramp up the difficulty and precision needed to progress. This is fundamental stuff and Thief lacks it completely.
There is a good game here waiting to be developed--so develop it! Until then, this is a 1-star, play then delete flop.

I love this game
I rated this five stars because the game, while really hard, is fun. I love the fact that you have to be quick, yet you have to time everything perfectly. I'm impatient so I can never get past 3 pillars. I'll keep trying though. This game is great, I like how you can only use two jumps, amazing idea, and it was executed perfectly. Keep up the good work! :)

This game is challenging but at the same time fun! Yes, it does remind me of Flappy Bird, but it is not a rip-off. This is a great game to play whenever your bored. I loved it from the first minute I started. This is extremely addictive. I picked up fast and in my first 5 minutes my high score was 6! (Not lying). This is a keeper!! Delete all your other games, this is the only one that you will need! (Don't do that, but it is so much fun!)

Amazing game
This game is fun and addictive. Some reviews say it's impossible, but they're probably just saying that cuz their a bunch of crybabies. I managed to get a high score of 69 and I haven't even played for that long. The animation and backdrop of the game is minimalistic which is nice and the ads are not annoying. Also the game is different from flappy bird because you can only tap twice, so you use your fingers differently and you have to think of when to tap. Get this game! You'll be glad you did.

How are the ratings so good? Why was it featured?
I don't know. First thing that popped up was an ad for another game. The idea seemed simple enough, but it's just a frustration game - die until you pass the first obstacle. Then keep dying until you get the hang of it... for what? Just to keep the little guy jumping and dying to get points? No story (why is he a thief?) not compelling gameplay. I guess if you just wanted something to kill time it would be okay, but if I'm going to spend time on something it had better be worth it. This is not.
