Can’t login
If it’s on an Apple phone, it won’t let you login because it’s too far to the bottom. It’s been like this for about a year now. That I knew of.
Not working with Hue Bridge Pro!
I love this app and the animations are very nice. It only works with the old Hue Bridges.

I love this app. I used the previous version and waited long for the newest version.
What I Like:
1) Ambee uses the richest colors I have ever seen in a Hue app. The reds are the most brilliant. The blues, purples, magentas and oranges are top rate.
2) the new app is exceedingly simple. There is no guessing. And I know this is one of the things the developer paid special attention to.
3) I’ve noticed with other apps there is something that affects switches and white lights which makes it a pain to use. But not Ambee. No interference at all.
What I don’t like:
1) The app heavily uses resources and will drain you battery rather quickly.
2) Times-out and freezes randomly.

Tired of installing apps only to find out about hidden fees. Why waste my time?

Incredibly limited functionality - and also, do know, this is only a “scenes” app - does not allow you to actually control your lighting system. Stick with better options such as iConnectHue or even the Hue app. Pretty disappointed.

I’m good, I uninstalled your app. I see now you’ve abandoned this project and only respond with “give me a detailed description” to make it seem like you care.

Neat but lacking
For the price of a $25 yearly subscription, I would expect to be able to customize the scenes to include more than just one room without having to apply it to all of the lights in the house. But from what I can see, that’s not an option.
The response time is laggy and the interface isn’t very intuitive.
Lots of potential here, but save your money for now.

Still bad; battery killer!!
**12/20/22: Tomas, stop replying to EVERY 1-star review asking for a more ‘detailed’ response and fix your app. You’ve only received bad reviews this past year, isn’t that enough ~details~???

No longer works
This used to be a great app, despite a clunky interface. After a long “overhaul” period when the developer continuously assured everyone big changes were coming, the big change finally dropped, and boy was it a bomb. Now the interface looks great but the functionality is shot. Animations frequently stop completely when other apps are subsequently opened. In particular, Spotify wreaks havoc on Ambee and vice versa: merely opening Spotify causes animations to stop, and merely opening Ambee causes Spotify to pause. I haven’t even been able to pinpoint which apps, or whether it’s just a timeout, causes Ambee to stop working. Not only will it stop, but the app itself freezes up. I spent over $60 on animations prior to the overhaul and now it’s dead. RIP tho 🥺

When I tried the app I did not want to sign in and when I tried to use my regular light it didn’t work so I don’t want a accont I want it free
Issues since the 2.0 update
I use this app for long periods (a few hours at least). Before the update, I used to simply set the animation and it would work basically forever until I stop it.
Now, after the update, the animation stops after a certain time, I’m not sure how long, maybe 30 minutes or less. The app window is usually frozen, and then I have to reopen the app to set the animation again.
I’m often listening to music/ambient sounds when this happens, and now, scenes that don’t have a soundtrack cause the music from other apps to stop.

Love the app and the colour pallets, easy to use, plenty of variation, what’s not to like and enjoy.
Update…Yipee! The developer heard my concerns here in the UK. The cost of the app for a yearly subscription is now in my opinion in line with the US. Well worth the money an excellent app, beautiful colours, easy to use. A 5 Star winner, just try and buy.

Used to be great
A formerly fun app with genuinely good light formulas, but a grab for subscriptions. A subscription to what? There have been no new light formulas for a very long time. I would know, I bought the in app credits for almost every design. That was over a year ago at least and there have been no new lighting designs. That was fine when you bought them a la carte. However since this redesign and move to subscription model, have not been able to restore my purchases. Buyer beware, you will subscribing to nothing new other than a fresh coat of paint in the UI. No thanks.

Doesn’t connect to bridge
Had to laugh at help section notifying you to uninstall and reinstall app several times to work. Don’t waste your time!
