What good is an app that is not accessible? It requires you to sign in. But there is no way to open an account. I can see why it has such a low rating. Not much thought went in to making this app.

Awesome app and device
Gives me some peace of mind when the kids are not under my supervision. I can also see all known child sex offenders on my app. 2 thumbs up 👍👍
Indispensable safety device!
I got this for my wife and another for my kid. My wife makes home infusion therapy visits and she has been verbally assaulted several times and once hit by the son of a patient. She pressed the one button and in a few minutes the cops were on their way with full knowledge of her location. She did. It have to say a word! Other times she would Press the button, and get the emergency operator on the line. That person would be in phone contact with her until she was able to walk out of the situation. If she had had more concerned about her security, the dispatcher would have sent the police immediately. I can also see where she is at any time using this application. I know when she is coming home, when she’s picking up her daughter, or when she is out making house calls.
We were so impressed, we got one for our daughter, who is in first grade. She carries it with her, and knows it when she presses the button she can get an immediate call Lynn to mommy. She doesn’t have to fumble with an iPhone multiple buttons in order to make the call. We also know where she is, and can set up alerts so that we get a text that lets us know when she gets to school, when she leaves school, when she goes to a friends house and so forth.We are not helicopter parents, but when we both work, it’s very good to have that form of contact with her daughter.
The application is easy to use, nicely laid out, and also gives us the ability to see if any neighborhood she’s going into has sexual predators living nearby. Highly recommended.

Great new app for parents!
This app is great! Now I can monitor my child’s Amber AlertGPS device from my iPhone. Really nice - and we like the ability to add pictures to the map.
Does Not Work With V3 Enterprise Users
As of April 4, 2012, this app still does NOT work with V3 Enterprise edition users.
Won't let me log on. Says invalid credentials but takes online via my computer just fine

App won't take credentials, device is even worse
GPS hardly registers on this device. If your kid is outside constantly, maybe that would be the ideal situation, but once it goes inside somewhere, it says no data.
I can buy a watch that has more accurate gps location ability, Amber Alert. It's nice to see you guys take tracking children so seriously with cheap service and devices.

Simplistic app, device could be improved
This app works well. But I'd like to see hybrid maps ( as mentioned in another review) and a feature to give you directions to the location of the GPS device. The device itself? The pouch and strap are a joke. I'd prefer a strap that cannot be easily removed and attach to the device itself. Battery lasts maybe 24 hours... Not great. I'd like to personally redesign the plastic casing. $20 for the premium service is a bit high. Hopefully it will be made mire affordable. Autism parents are always broke as it is.

Needs Hybrid view
As stated it needs hybrid view in the maps, it would be nice to see actual places not just a blank area with your a pin in the middle as your location.
Also the option on the website would also be nice to include in the app.

Great idea
I'm giving this app 4 stars mostly because there's nothing else quite like it on the market, and I'm thrilled that someone is pursuing this idea. I would agree with the previous review, though, that it would be VERY helpful to incorporate Google's satellite view into the app like it is on the website. I live in a rural area where there are not many marked streets, and I want to be able to use this to locate my autistic child if he wanders.
I also wish that the settings could all be configured from within the app, rather than having to go through the site. Thanks for coming up with this, and I look forward to improvements!

Good Job
This is a good app for a wonderful device. As a parent of a child that was missing for a brief time, this app and device gives me a little more "peace of mind" about the security of my children. The app tracks my children accurately with updates every minute (more often if you "ping" them). I would like them to add the ability to go to satellite view, this would be necessary in parks and locations (like Disneyworld) that have few listed streets. This is much easier to use than the company's web site for tracking your loved ones. GOOD JOB AMBERALERTGPS.
