Great sounds, but timer needed
I love the variety of sounds and the ability to mix them at varied levels. The app needs a timer so you can have the sounds stop at some point (currently they just play forever).

Broken UI
I cannot move or interact with the app window at all except to close it. So I guess you could the say the close button is this app’s best feature.

Needs Work
This app is ok, except that there are very noticeable breaks in the loops. The 'River' sound has a fade-out and back in that lasts about two seconds, which is the longest I've ever heard in a noise app.
macOS Monterey issue
the main screen button layout it broken on Monterrey. It is not possible to select most of the sounds. The Developer website is not reacheable anymore.

I've been looking for a replacement for Ambiance since it stopped being supported and only my older devices have been able to run it. Unfortunately, that means my favorite sleep mix is no longer really able to work with HomePod Mini, at least not by AirPlay and the Bluetooth connection often drops in the middle of the night.
Enter Ambiently! My favorite mix is a "camping" mix with Rain on a Tent, Campfire in the distance, a stream, etc. I can come close with Ambiently, which is huge. No other app I have tried has allowed easy mixing and saved mixes in this way.
Just a couple of things I would love to see:
1. Import of sound loops. It's be awesome to include the ability to put in my own loops.
2. Ability to rename/delete mixes.
3. Airplay button to choose external source.

Great sounds, bad interface
The sounds are great, but it doesn't look like the app images above. Take a quarter inch strip of each of the photos and stack them so the entire height of the images is shorter than one image if it were square as shown in the app store. Also, the window cannot be moved, only changed in size. It would probably be a 4 or 5 if they fixed the interface though! Running it on MacOS 12.5.1

The graphics are displaying incorrectly on Macs - all scrunched up weirdly. Sounds themselves are fine, and love that it's free. Hope you can fix the interface then 5 stars!

Love the app! Simple easy to use. Visually pleasing (the app and the app icon actually). And the sounds are great and mixing.

Mac Desktop Version Needs Work
I was looking for something similar to iOS background sounds for my Mac and found this app. Great concept but the interface doesn't work correctly in the desktop version. It's still functional but all the elements are vertically compressed, making it hard to figure out.
m1 macOS version displays tiles badly
I enjoy the app on iPadOS and iOS, but on my M1 mac mini, the sound tiles are only 20px tall (including the title at the top) and don't wrap, making it impossible to change the sound volume.
Also, the support link in the app store goes the the developer site, but has no support options.
Love the app, just reporting the bug.

great sounds, can't scroll
Hi, this is a potentially lovely app with great sounds and a nice interface, but I can't scroll in any direction. I see reviews from a year ago mentioning the same problem, it would be really great to get this fixed - this app could be a lifesaver while I work from home with noisy neighbors! :)

Perfect Loops
I love that the sound samples are long enough to where they sound more realistic. It isn't just a 60-second loop that starts sounding repetitive after a few minutes. I prefer ambient social sounds, like a restaurant and people - Ambiently has the best sound files for both that I've found so far. I like to feel like I'm in a cafe when I blog, so I've created a mixtape out of those two (another feature I love) so I can jump right into it when I start writing. AND, best of all, there aren't any "free trial" restrictions or annoying pop-up telling me to buy premium anything. It's an all-around free ambient app :)

Good App
Does what it says. No ads so that's a huge plus and free.
The user interface needs a little polish. The scroll bars disappear and you need to resize the window to get them back. Also the slider controls are 'sticky', they don't move smoothly. BUT it's free so this is said gently to the developer. I like the app and recommend it.
