Among the most relaxing apps I have installed
When the binaural sound apps just aren’t chaotic enough to help guide my concentration, I find this app is extremely soothing for me when anxiety creeps in. In these Modern trying times one thing I miss most is being able to go hang out somewhere public and listen to the sound of crowds. I find it very relaxing and I use it to enhance the sounds around me in hospital waiting rooms and even just resting at home. Put in your earbuds with the passive sound on so it blends into your surroundings at low volume or if you are trying to escape the chaos around you, activate the noise cancellation option and listen to entropy that is a bit more controlled. Reminds me of of friends I had that went out and did field recordings for music projects. Shocked there aren’t nature sounds or mass transit recordings. I know this app is helping me out.

This app is truly amazing and doesn’t force any cost and the advertising is so minimal that you don’t even notice it. Honestly love the app and it really is one of my favourite apps due to its simplicity and the fact it has never asked me to pay for anything, it’s just letting me listen in peace while I study.
Even thought I’ve only encountered one small ad in the few hours I’ve used it I’m going to go ahead and pay for it anyways.
I love what you guys have done with this app and it deserves its credit.
The sounds are also terrific, by far my favourite would be the ice skating.

Perhaps I’m missing something but what the heck is the point to this?! Just listen to any streaming music service or podcast. Who would put this on the “relax” or “feel less alone?!”

This app is great especially during these times , it needs more sounds but most definitely a good app
Why does this app exist?
The world is a very noisy place. Everywhere we go, our ears are assaulted by excess noise. In restaurants, we have to shout so that the people we are with can hear us. This app is the last thing. A quiet home is a place of refuge.

Love the app but I wish there was a timer
First I just want to say that this is a great app! Especially since they made all of the tracks available to everyone. One thing I wish there could be is a sleep timer of some sort. I’ve seen it on other apps, and I feel like it would just be so useful.
These are just the right background noises
There are tons of rainfall etc apps which are fine, but with all this staying home more I needed familiar background sounds and these are spot on. Sounds of a cafe, restaurant, jazz club, outdoor market, I play different ones at different times of the day. I love music and podcasts but so,trimesters I just want to remember normal life.

As a disabled person I love the way your app, when I close my eyes, virtually transports me back into life and around the world... It’s relaxing and fun! More! PLEASE!!!
More places (cities, markets, rainforests, remote beaches), lots of unique weather options (thunderstorms, etc...), fictional fun (ambient star trek bridge sounds), I’m sure you’ve got plenty of ideas so I’ll stop... But this medium is as transformative as a book, a movie, or a performance — love this idea! :)

This app was such a good idea!
Really love this app and the way it gives you a genuine sound that puts you in the atmosphere! I love using it when I’m reading or even going to bed!
I would love a forest or woodsy outdoor sound too! I just moved from a very forest/woods filled state to a beach state and I would love to hear some of those earthy tones again!

• Bought on a whim, but sound tracks are only 8-9 minutes each.
• Effectiveness of sound-loops can be increased dramatically if they used at least 20-minute long loops (or longer), because people start remembering song patterns, especially for short songs.
• Also, songs should not have particularly recognizable portions of audio, otherwise it kills any effectiveness of the looping. Just increase length of track to 30 minutes or longer to avoid this issue. Or have an audio engineer mix and remix the audio — you can easily create an unrecognizable 30+ minute loop out of splices of a full 10 minute loop....
• I don’t know why more soundscape apps don’t have longer tracks. We don’t need more tracks, we just need *longer* tracks per track.
• Other Quality of life issues:
1) On ipad, can’t move the app into a split-screen panel frame on the left or right or hidden drawer panel; only full-screen is enabled.
2) Can’t hide the track progress bar on the bottom or current time of track. Annoying for those who want to keep the app focused on the screen, since may start mapping track timings to audio patterns or get unfocused because keep watching the timer bar getting close to the end.
3) At least have an audio engineer mix the end of each track so that when it loops back, you don’t have to fade the audio in and out and its just a seamless loop of audio.

Missing cast feature
If i could cast this to an echo or google home device, I would buy all the sounds and give it 5 stars. But not worth it to only play through phone or headphones.

Brings back the public feel without the COVID masks
I miss the days(already) of the sense of freedom to spontaneously go to public locations without the worry of where my mask is. At least during COVID lockdowns, I am able to simulate those environments with the HD quality background of the days that once was.
4/5 stars as I hoped to also have more environmental backgrounds like maybe sporting events or rainfall/thunder under different rooftops(barn, car, jungle)
