Don’t bother
Downloaded the app to use a promo code but can’t see what the total price would be or if the code works on my item without making an account. Have tried 3 times + multiple errors with phone number, address and other info even though it’s all right and the info gets reset and I have to fill it in repeatedly. Finally had the info accepted just for it to say there’s an error and it’s unable to make the account anyway on the next page.

Hello, I wanted to close my account because I think you are not a good company. My credit limit was £150 and I placed an order for £99.99 after which my order was canceled and my credit was reduced to £0. I will warn against this type of fraudulent companies so that people do not register with you.
Ordering on App
I tried ordering on App I completed it, ordered it for delivery, it accepted it and then it was Still in my Basket so CANCELLED all the order by DELETING all the Items. This is not the first time this has happened. So what is the point of having the App if you cannot order online!!!

nightmare trying to pay on the Ambrose Wilson website keep complaining to customer service but still no help
Voice over users could do with some operational info
As a voice over user once you’ve worked out how this app works it’s pretty good although the checkout part would be a lot easier if the page moved to the next section as you completed it. Without knowing as a newcomer to this app what to swipe or tap to get colour, size, product info, reviews, save & add to bag actions, at first it was rather frustrating. However once you’ve taken a few guesses and discovered more by accident rather than design what to do, it’s rather good. A link to swipe & tap gestures which could be spoken at the relevant point would be the most helpful or perhaps a link to them from the front page of the shop? As for checkout, jumping to the next piece e confirm billing address then onto card payment would be more helpful plus indicating what cards you accept before having put in a card number only be alerted you don’t accept it. Finally be fast!! The time to switch from Ambrose to your banking app to authorise and then switch back to continue is 5 mins. I can understand this limitation to prevent fraud but for slower or newer users with voice over turned on, this could be tricky. However, having negotiated this app for the first time, I’m hoping I’ll find it easier next time - I’ll update the stars if I do.

A little disappointed that deliveries to home are charged but click and collect is free but as a disabled person it can be difficult to get out and there is no provision for someone to collect on my behalf.

Don’t opt for paperless!
Almost got caught out. I opted for paperless thinking it would be better for the environment. However I keep checking the app and there’s no statement so I don’t know how much to pay or by what date. Then I had a text reminder to say my payment is due today. I’ve cleared the balance as this is too stressful. I don’t want to my credit rating affected by a bill I don’t know about. There is still no statement showing so I’ve now switched back to paper copies for future orders.
On the plus side I do enjoy the app fit browsing items and saving favourites for later.

Shortage of colours and sizes
Was dismayed that several shoes that I liked were not available in the colour and size that I wanted.
