Worse than Pluto
I’ve never written reviews, but this app deserves some written criticism. It's clunky; the streaming quality is the absolute worst. In an age where 4K streaming is easily available, it just boggles my mind that AMC chose to stream in pixely 1080i. I can't watch this on a regular TV. It looks like I'm watching cable TV from 2005. $11 a month for that? No thanks. Canceled right away and taking advantage of watching The Vampire Lestat before my trial ends.

Great content and awful app
Great content and amazing shows and movies, but the crappiest and most buggy app I’ve ever used. Truly abysmal app. Freezes, doesn’t work, won’t load..l you name it.

This is probably the worst streaming app I’ve used. It crashes all the time when trying to watch. “AVPlayerltemFailed ToPlayToEndTime Notification was fired for the current item.” this is the message that appears every time
Utter garbage
AMC+ runs like garbage, if you pause in a program to go gran your food out and it drops you out of your program and you go back in to resume it will often take you to a different episode, not play episodes in order/randomly skip episodes, etc. I don’t think I have ever had a streaming app from any other company be this bad

Ad Much?
Ad after ad after ad in a matter of 3-5 minutes of movie time. Current movie has 14 breaks for commercials. Not worth the money or time!
Stream with an external device
After I got a Roku streaming service I no longer have any problems. It’s just that the google in the TVs are not compatible with the AMC+ app. Get a Roku and the problem is solved.
Not worth the money
This app has too many playback and crash issues to be charging a subscription fee.

Doctor who is not available on this app at all, none at all.
Content great. App trash.
The shows are both paying for, but the app doesn't work most of the time. Also. I can't make profiles for my household.
Egregious amount of ads
Simply too many ads. I get that there will be some, but it’s an insane amount. Feels like every 5 minutes another ad break.

For Tv edited movies falsely advertised as original versions
We were looking forward to watching “A Bronx Tale” this Friday. My wife had never watched it, and, having seen it many times, I was excited to watch Robert de Niro’s directorial debut together. Sadly, AMC plus (nothing plus about this app) decided to advertise the movie as the “30th Anniversary edition” but what the paying subscriber gets instead is the for TV edited version, which is a whopping 15 minutes shorter and has fade outs throughout where commercials would air. The sound is also very poor. AMC plus is deceiving their audience but happy to take the subscription money.

App needs serious updates.
I watch more ads than the episode, it constantly loses its place in the episode. Crashes constantly but best believe that ad is going to play clear. Trash app.
Terrible experience using website
The website is trash! I tried to cancel my free trial on the app and it told me to manage my subscription through the App Store. I didn’t sign up through the App Store! I went to the website to cancel that way since that is the way I signed up for my free trial and it kept saying error! For about a week the website kept saying error until I opened the website under the private tab instead of the regular tab on my phone and the website actually worked and was able to cancel my free trial. Do not use website and make sure you use App Store only so you can manage your subscription!

Pretty good
I honestly just got it to watch Doctor Who that’s all I got it to watch for and it feels like there are a whole lot of ads. That’s the only bad thing about it so far I’m loving it and it has so much Doctor Who. I love it.

Glitchy
Streaming is extremely glitchy. It is unusable… shows stream for a few minutes then crash every time. Waste of money.
