Since new versions of IOS the app no longer rotates to full screen on IPhone
This app was great, now it no longer rotates to see your cameras in full screen on IPhone
iOS 18.1.1 update
Since I updated to IOS 18.1.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro, my app opens and I can view all cameras, the screen won’t go to landscape mode.
Can we get an update?
I’m using this app for the iPhone 15 pro max. I can’t view my camera in landscape mode since I updated to iOS 17. Are you going to put out an update?
Cámaras are not working/open
Two days ago the system stop working. We can open cámaras and WiFi/internet remain the same.

App started crashing last year for no reason. Opens and shuts down immediately. Please fix this!!
Worst surveillance software ever
Just a cheap, awful app. Forget about using the alarm motion detector function. Does not work. At all. Forget about jumping ahead or backwards in time. You have to use your finger instead of buttons and it is so touchy you jump a half hour at a time.

Consistently Crashes
I’ve had the system installed for about 2 yrs. with little to no issues. Now the app on my iPhone X just crashes and will not even open.
App and phone have latest update, I’ve rebooted the phone, still nothing.

Very frustrated. This used to be a decent product, but app won’t work now. Disappointed that something we made a decent investment in is now obsolete apparently.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but Amcrest app won’t open at all now. Please update to fix issue. I tap to open and it immediately closes with no error message. 11/12/20 update. Called customer service to reset password and deleted and redownloaded the app and logged in. It works again! Customer service always helpful.

Do not buy - invest in something better
This camera system is the worse! It lacks the technology system to keep it running effectively. We continuously have to call in to get it reset. But along the way, you have to submit pictures to verify you own the camera system before you can even move forward to speaking with a rep, that you can’t even understand. The system is great for about 2 weeks MAX :( it’s been a frustrating routine- I wished I’d known better!

Bad app makes an otherwise good camera system worthless
$25 dollar Wyze cameras work better and have an amazingly better app. It’s bad enough to make my Amcrest system worthless.

Numerous issues with playback. Must start at the latest recordings and work backwards or program will lock up after first view! Camera system itself is great.
Used to work
Latest update killed the app so now we can’t log in on our phones. Tried deleting and reinstalling and it won’t work. Made new user name. No luck. Clunky user interface at least used to work- now it’s worthless for remote access! Fix it, please!
IP Address
The app works fine for my purpose of simply viewing live images from the cameras. I noticed a lot of bad reviews talk about the app losing connection with the cameras. I am not sure about the solution, but in my case, the cause was changing IP addresses. The router changes IP address for the DVR from time to time, but the DVR doesn’t update with the new address. The solution was to change the IP address setting on the DVR to static mode. Amcrest provides guidance on this matter on their website. Check there for further information.

No work when off WiFi
So here it is again, can’t access video from app when away from home WiFi. This has happened in the past and when I called they blame my phones carrier and software. Which is bogus since it worked fine before. Seems to happen whenever a software update happens on iphone for me. But what’s the point of this brand if it does not get with the times. As I read these reviews I have yet to them respond.
