Bad Bad Bad

Debt Settlement is bad for your credit you pay them the program fees read fine print! you save very little money over all your creditors hate you and can send you to court and just by following program. Messes with your credit for 7 years very bad.

Americor Is A Heartless & Deceptive Operation

Americor was NOT a Finance company when I was a client. They were a debt relief program. They claimed that they were a debit negotiations company!
Yes I signed up because of my debit to income ratio. But what Americor doesn’t want you to know can hurt you. Today 1/30/26 I received a 1099c form from SYNCHRONY BANK. They funded my Lowes credit card. I reached out to Americor customer support about this. I asked why someone didn’t inform me about this? I was told that I should have read page three. I said if someone had disclosed this upfront I wouldn’t have used this service.I said that I signed the documents online. The agent said that I should have been adult enough to read all the documents.
My wife passed away in October 2025. I don’t know how long I’m going to be able to survive financially. This has also set me back emotionally as well!

Waiting

I was told this company would pay my debt off once I signed up. Well I have made SIX PAYMENTS TO THIS COMPANY and they still haven’t paid my credit cards off. I have NEVER been late in paying my creditors and now Americor has ruined my credit score and still have not paid my debts!! Don’t sign up with this company. My next call will be to my attorney!!!!!! Very dissatisfied!!

I was told

When I started in the beginning I was told that I am in control of my account. I asked if I could skip a payment and was told I was good to go and congratulation’s your next payment will be on February fifth and my January payment will be skipped. I needed to skip that payment because of a financial situation I was in. The one of only problem is Americor took the payment from my bank for January putting my bank in the hole. Now, I have lost any confidence in Americor. I read a response from one of your customers that he was basically raked over the coals when he tried to get the loan you told us about to help get him out of debt sooner. The only problem with that was the interest rate was higher than the loan interest was way higher than regular credit card rates which is totally unacceptable. This doesn’t sound like a company that I would have trusted to handle such an important matter. Now I am in a situation where it seems I should have gone with someone else to handle my credit situation. Not sure if I made the right decision. Shame on you.

Did not tell me about such high fees when it comes to settling offers, put them in the back of my paper work. Doesn’t feel like such a big settle after the big percent they charge for doing it!! Might as well and negotiate yourself

Beware settlement fee

I had $12,888 a little over a year they settled for $9,537 but then they charged me $2,952 for settlement fees. It barely saved me money and they didn’t mention that much I also emailed my person and support trying to get info and I’m just ghosted. You’re better off trying to settle it with your bank

Changed My Life!

My accounts were negotiated in just 3 months and I was able to complete the program in less than a year because I made large deposits. I’m now debt free, thank you Americor!

Wages Garnished Anyway

I wish I had just called the creditors myself! All this money could be going to REALLY reduce our debt! They did not even notify of the garnishment! It was simply taken out. They “say” they have “legal resources,” but do NOT help you or look out for you.
I regret using them.

Scam

This program is a scam. What the salesperson told me about how it works is very different from how it really works. I followed their instructions and now I am totally screwed! My wages are being garnished and the stress is causing physical and mental issues. I canceled the contract and they refuse to refund any money left in my account!

Becoming debt free

I’ve been in debt for years. Trying multiple strategies myself to pay off. I kept turning down debt relief until I met started working with Liberty/Americor. Now I have a clear path to being debt free - my only regret was not starting sooner. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

This is a scam for them to get you to pay hundreds of dollars to them when you are not saving any money by doing this “program” by letting them settle your debt. Thanks to them my wages are going to be getting garnished because they refused to call a creditor and havn’t bothered to call any others! I am very furious!!!!

iOS 18 issues

Unable to get the app to load past the welcome screen. Worked on iOS 17, works on iPadOS 18 but not iOS 18.

App doesn’t log me in

I have iOS 18.1. The app opens but when I attempt to sign in it just stays on the loading screen. I always have to log into the website rather than use the app because I can’t get in.
