Waiting list could be improved
It is not clear how many people are in front of you if you are on the waiting list.
Sometimes I receive a message that spot has become available but it’s not clear if that place is being held for the next in line and it’s very frustrating because it’s not possible to understand why you cannot grab that spot.

I can’t get into the app.
Can we add functionally to export member’s barcode to Apple Wallet?
Under the old app (or maybe earlier versions of Wallet), we were able to add the barcode to Apple Wallet, so that it can be displayed on Apple Watch. It would be nice to have that functionality so we wouldn’t have to bring our phones in (the little key tags are nice but they get torn and lost easily).

I CANNOT stand this new app. It’s too hard to navigate, I don’t care to join a “community” with people (I don’t know) sending messages to me, and I can’t figure out how to view classes at other locations. And their website isn’t much better.
Still waiting…
I have asked it to send me a password reset email multiple times, and I haven’t received one.
Way harder to use than old app.
The new app is so disappointing. No way to favorite a class so that it sends you a reminder when it opens for sign up. I go to three different AmFams for classes and going to look at the list between them is more steps than the old app bc you have to back out every time. They don’t list the location the class is at anywhere so after you sign up you have to remember which facility it’s at.
Looks like they spent a lot of time/money on all these extras that I doubt anyone asked for instead of making the app function in the best way possible.

Which club again???
Too many screens to navigate just to sign up for a class. And when you do find the right time and class there’s nothing to tell you which club. Old app was better.

The app is easy and convenient to use
Needs work.
Hard to sign up at different locations. Have to go back to main screen, change location then back to then group fitness schedule to join class. Repeat! I have the same difficulty with signing into multiple classes. It automatically takes you to the calendar instead of letting you select multiple classes before taking you out of the schedule.

New App-Anywhere-AWFUL
NOT PLEASED with the new app, something that I did not want but was told we have to have. Harder to navigate and too many variables to use just to book a class when you eventually find it and the location. I don’t need it telling me that I didn’t do an activity today either. Stupid badges you earn for levels you hit, don’t care. I go to the gym to workout. I don’t want “big brother” watching me”.
Also, AMFAM says they don’t have money but they found money for a new app! Where was that money. Why don’t you ask members what THEY want? How about hot yoga at Short Pump, been asking for that for years. The room next to the racquet ball courts is available, never see anyone use it, put it there. The lockers need to be redone (bigger) and more curtain changing rooms, better lighting and at the vanity. Tissues in the bathroom so I don’t have to feel like a child to go ask for them. Showers have issues, no hot water several times, no signed up to tell you.
But we have to deal with an app that WAS NOT NEEDED and NOT WANTED and did not know it was coming because no one communicated anything until you get an email that you have to download an app.
Old APP was fine, worked well, easier to use and navigate, no issues. Again, would have been nice to have communication to know what was going on.
