I’ve been using Amigo since the Beta version, and honestly, it’s the first social app in years that actually feels fun. There are no influencers, no ads, and no algorithms telling me what to see, no scary news or rants to trigger me, just posts from my friends. It’s refreshing to scroll and know that everything I’m seeing is genuine, not filtered for clicks or based on Algorithms.
Amigo feels like what social media used to be, upbeat and fun. I love that I can connect without all the things I don’t like on Insta and FB. I stay updated on the people I choose, and not feel like I’m being sold something every five seconds.
If you’ve been looking for a calmer, more authentic way to stay connected online, Amigo is it. It’s about people, not popularity, and that’s something worth supporting.I think I’ll still use Insta for travel, food and style ideas & scrolling, but not for posting, it’s not an all or nothing to join Amigo.. Creators are open to comments for improvements and/or changes so if you suggest improvements to them they are responsive. It will continue to improve with input from the users.
