What's New in Amissa Health

2026.7.1

July 16, 2026

Amissa just got a major glow-up. We rebuilt the app from the ground up to be faster, easier to use, and more helpful in managing symptoms: A brand-new look - The whole app is cleaner and easier to get around, from your daily check-in to prepping for your next appointment. - Dynamic content surfaces exactly what you need to see, when you need to see it. - Dark theme prevents you from being blinded at night (optional). Insights that connect the dots - See what's actually moving your symptoms with insights that surface intelligently. - Understand how your symptoms correlate with one another. - See the impacts of medications, behavioral changes, and physical activity. - View how your symptoms have improved over days, weeks, and months. - Save insights for later to discuss with your doctor. - New Insights Level helps you understand how your tracking efforts pay off. Track your medications - Add medications with built-in drug search and pick exactly which days you take each dose or change your patch. - Insights show whether your meds have the effects you hope for. A better daily check-in - Pin the symptoms you care about, swipe to remove the ones you don't, and learn more about them and how they relate to menopause. - Choose whether you'd prefer to log a day's symptoms at night, or the morning after. - Quick actions let you copy the previous day's logs or mark today as symptom-free instead of marking each one individually. - Already logged today? The check-in quietly steps aside. - You can now track trouble falling asleep. Make the most of your appointments with Appointment Readiness - Enter the date of your next appointment and the app will help you prepare as it approaches. - Save questions and talking points in a list that you can pull up at your appointment. - Tell your provider your priorities for the appointment to make the most of it. Better syncing - Syncing data from your fitness tracker is now faster and fixes itself if any problems arise. - Better offline handling: Log your symptoms as normal and everything syncs up when you reconnect. Better education library - Articles now surface intelligently based on your priorities and symptom severity. - Glossary links highlight key menopause terms. - In-text citations give you confidence and let you go straight to the source. - Filter articles by topic or unread status. Help when you need it - Get answers fast with live chat right inside the app. Having an issue? Chat with our engineers! - Support requests are created proactively when anything unexpected happens. Plus: - Reorganized settings make it easier to find what you need. - More frequent, and automatic, app updates. - "What's new" release notes. …and more. As always, Amissa is committed to your privacy. We do not, have not, and will not share or sell information to third parties outside our platform. Amissa takes HIPAA and patient privacy very seriously.

Really needs to be adjusted

So the app in theory is great. You track your symptoms each day and one would think it would then compile the past 30 days to give your provider your menopause score. However, rather than make life easier for my foggy, exhausted brain, after 30ish days, the app asks me to rate my menopause score in all the areas covering the past 30ish days. Dude, how is this app helping women??? I can barely remember how I’m feeling each morning let alone the past 30 days. I’m so disgusted with the app I’m just going to do the same scale in a spreadsheet and have it give me the average from the last 30 days. The only thing this app does is 1. Gives me a monthly reminder of how poor my memory is working and 2. Collect my data to sell. Honestly just shameful.

Good Start

This app is great for women tracking symptoms and helpful that it can be linked to providers. While it has many of the symptoms women see in peri/meno it is lacking in the ability to input your own data or make comments regarding symptoms or situations you would like to note of importance. For example if I forget to wear my Apple Watch there is no option to enter workout manually or when I’m feeling bloated no option to tract, or I wanted to note the day I started testosterone therapy and would have appreciated a comment option to note that day. Like I said, great start but still has may gaps. I hope they will continue to improve this app. I got it because my provider is using it to track symptoms.
