Love the app but…

I love the app! It really helps to keep track of all my ammo! I use it especially during my reloading. The one problem I have is when it come to taking boxes that I have reloaded to the range it doesn’t let you add them to your range day shot count to be seen in the usage data, or at least I don’t know how to make it work. Instead, I have to go back and edit the boxes manually. I would love it the developer was able to make an update so we can pick and choose what boxes we take to the range instead of scanning a bar code for range day use only. I understand that if you don’t reload, this wouldn’t be an issue. But for those of us that do it would be a great help!

Ok app, needs more development

Basic app, needs an export to Csr option. Doesn’t recognize all brands, and should have a manual entry method for boxes that have no bar code

Concerns about App

I’m interested in this app, however with the current political climate and recreational shooting taking a lot of ammo, what guarantees are there this app can’t be looked at to find people with “stockpiles” of ammo by the alphabet boys?

Good while it lasted

Got a new phone and it crashes, saved the data and now cant recover it in the app after reinstalling, all my progress and inventory wasted unless I enter everything manually somewhere else. Developer took care of it and got it fixed

Hi there, I really appreciate the feedback. You’re right, the app didn’t handle device upgrades well before. I’ve just released an update that lets you back up your data to an encrypted file and restore it easily on a new device. If you run into any issues using the backup feature, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me by email. I’ll make sure it gets resolved.

Can’t delete box type off of inventory

Why can’t you delete the input or edit the box size? What if you no longer buy that type of ammo and it’s now taking up pointless screen space or you’ve made a mistake and just need to edit it. But you can’t do that.

Hello. In the most recent update we fix this exact issue. You can fully remove boxes, add new ones, and update box information. If you have any other problems please reach out!

I can’t get past the initial login screen. You can’t click on the button. It’s 99% offscreen.

Really Like the App, however…

Everything with this app is fantastic and I’ve been able to add every box of ammunition I have EXCEPT for ammunition without a bar code.

I have several 9mm plastic cases that I can load and store rounds of ammunition in and according to the app description I should be able to point my camera at the case with the lid open and it will inventory what is there. I cannot for the life of me find or figure out how this is accomplished. The only thing I have been able to do is scan barcodes on brand new boxes of ammunition. Maybe I’ll get a reply from the app creator with more instruction.

Other than this issue, which I consider to be pretty big, the app is great. Let me know how to fix this issue and I’ll give the app a full 5 stars.

Thanks for your review! The ammo detector only works for boxes that are already in your inventory, so if you have a box without a barcode, you’ll need to add it manually first. When you open the scanner, there’s a button on the pop-up (part of the text: “No barcode, click here”) that lets you enter box details manually. Once the box is in your inventory, the detector can be used to track rounds inside it. Good, but...

What's there works pretty OK. The barcode scanner struggles to focus at times. The real issue is there is. On way to manually add ammo, especially if the barcode doesn't return anything. Once added, you can't edit the entry, adjust mistakes or anything.

Love the app

Love the app, just wish it had a bit more customizability. Could you let us add ammo without needed to scan the box? Some of my ammo I throw into pouches and no longer have the box with barcode. Other than that the app is pretty solid

Limitations in Managing Reloaded Ammunition

It does not allow the addition of ammunition that is not in boxes, meaning it cannot control reloaded ammunition.
