Not worth any money!!!
I bought this app on sale thinking “Hendrix rules, how bad could it be?” No, No, No. Amplitube is the worst guitar Amp SIM ever, and this JH App dishonors his memory. It sounds like someone stole my guitar, magically turned it into paper and tin foil, and then crunched it up and then burned it with a blowtorch…and then tried to feed it to me. Beyond any doubt it is THE worst sound ever. I have L6 Mobile POD, Tonestack, and PG Bias FX and JU. All of them have their + and -, all of them meet some minimum requirement of sounding pretty good if you have a clue and an EQ… admittedly the “best” is subject to opinion...but all are countless leagues above Amplitube. I was flabbergasted by the cardboard barf sounds. Seriously, this is a joke. Don’t be tempted. Worse, some of the features (WAH, filter….) don’t load in reg Amplitube, and you can’t load other pedal purchases in this one (reverb, for example. if you use the marshall JH Gold amp, there is no way to get reverb. What the heck were they thinking?). And guess what? The “complete” tone library doesn’t have Machine Gun and a few other major songs. I am ashamed that I paid any money for this app.

An ad for other app purchases appears every time this app is opened!! I agree with the other ratings - no wah!
Very Misleading.
The in app purchases ruin what would have been a positive review for this app.
You buy the app thinking you’re getting Jimi’s “rig”, but to get “his full rig” you’ll have to shell our extra money for a wah pedal and other key features that really should just be included in the base price.
Quite frankly, I get better jimi tones out of my real rig.

Not iOS 8 compatible, bundle and separate apps makes no sense
I wish I paid closer attention to the last version update date when I purchased this with the full Amplitube bundle. Although the main/original Amplitube app was updated in Oct 2014, the Fender, Slash, Jimi Hendrix, and Orange versions have not been updated and are not iOS 8 compatible.
Also, this bundle of separate apps makes no sense. Yes, the Fender, Slash, Jimi Hendrix, and Orange versions are separate stand-alone apps, instead of being in-app purchases within the main Amplitube app, which would make much more sense and be more useable. They've made it impossible to mix and match the amps, cabs, and effects between them.
It's also a bit of a ripoff that the bundle does not include the multitrack recorder, and if you want it, you have to purchase it separately for each of the Amplitube apps.
Given how happy I've been with other IK MultiMedia products, like the iRigs, of which I own 3, the Amplitube family has been a bit of a disappointment.

Pretty bad
This is a very poor app. The presets are just a load of muddy sounding distortions - nothing like Jimi's tones at all. Don't buy it.
