About

Do you forget who you lent money to or borrowed from? Want to record expenses and invoices without complicated accounts? Amunta is a personal accounting app for managing expenses, income, debts, invoices, budgets and installments. Its core features work offline, it requires no account and shows no ads. Your data stays on your device by default. The app only uses an internet connection when you choose to share a transaction through A-Link or save an encrypted backup to your Google Drive account. ---------------------- Track debts and amounts due ---------------------- • See who owes you and whom you owe • Separate balance and transaction history for each person • Record loans, partial or full repayments and overpayments • Weekly, monthly and yearly balance charts • Export a detailed account statement to PDF ---------------------- Connect two ledgers with A-Link ---------------------- • Connect two people using a network ID • Record a transaction once and send it to the other phone • Disconnect at any time A-Link+ adds approval by both parties for operations that create a debt or change the balance. Other operations do not require new approval for every entry. The transaction is encrypted on the phone before it is sent. The server relays the encrypted message without reading its contents, then deletes it after successful delivery or automatically after 24 hours if it is not delivered. ---------------------- Transfer a transaction by QR offline ---------------------- • Transfer a transaction or invoice directly between two phones • Check the currency and details before importing • A digital signature helps verify the source and integrity • Prevent the same transaction from being imported twice The QR code is signed for verification, but it is not an encrypted channel. It is designed for direct transfer between two phones, not for sharing its image publicly. ---------------------- Keep every invoice detail ---------------------- • Cash and deferred sales and purchase invoices • Items, quantities, prices and a clear total • Add products, signatures and receipt images • Link a deferred invoice to a contact's balance • Export reports and searchable PDF statements ---------------------- Record everyday transactions ---------------------- • Record income, expenses, loans and repayments • Ready-made categories for food, transport and more • Add notes, images and attachments • Choose the right currency for your ledger ---------------------- Plan installments and budgets ---------------------- • Installment plans with custom amounts and dates • Track paid and remaining amounts • Local reminders when a payment is due • Weekly, monthly and yearly budgets • Alerts when you approach a budget limit • Reports and charts for understanding income and spending ---------------------- Interface available in 16 languages ---------------------- Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Fulani, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Soninke, Spanish, Turkish, Urdu and Wolof. Amunta supports RTL and LTR layouts, and you can choose the language inside the app. ---------------------- Privacy is part of the design ---------------------- • No account, email address or phone number • No ads or marketing trackers • Your main records are stored on your device • Optional, end-to-end encrypted A-Link • Password-encrypted local backup • Optional encrypted backup on Google Drive • App protection with a PIN Amunta — a clear personal finance ledger that works even when the internet is unavailable.

What's New in Amunta

2.0.7

August 15, 2026

Everything added since 2.0.4 — three releases in one update. NEW • Dark mode — Light, Dark, or follow your phone. • One search across transactions, people and invoices — by name, description or amount. • Remind someone on WhatsApp with one tap: the amount is already written, and they need no app. • “Move to a new device” — create a backup, get it off the phone, and restore it there. • Export your transactions to a CSV that opens in Excel and Numbers. • Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID instead of typing your PIN — on top of the PIN, never instead of it. • A periodic reminder of your backup password, with a way to check it. • Tap any item in the product report to track it: your usual price, the best price you paid, and sellers ranked by average price. IMPROVED • A person's lists show the last 30 entries instead of the last 30 days, so an occasional contact is no longer an empty list. • Emptying the trash now removes everything attached to a transaction: its fees, its change log and its notifications. FIXED • A reminder was described as a collection even when you were the one who owed. • The person picker could fail to show balances while scrolling fast.
