OBSESSED!

This game is literally amazing!!! I can’t believe more people aren’t obsessed. Other word game apps have so many superfluous features/updates—extra gamemodes, incessant advertisements, etc.—that just get annoying to experience over and over. Like JUST let me play the game please. I don’t care about collecting all the dragon eggs of the day or whatever. This review isn’t an ad I fr just want the servers to get populated so that I can play in multiplayer mode lol. It’s a much more rewarding and unique concept than most other word games and it’s not flooded with video ads that play every 2 seconds!! Pls creators don’t change anything!!

Great App!

I wanted to get better at Banagrams and Scrabble and this app works great with pretty minimal ads. My one minor gripe is that there are no statistics for you to look at besides leaderboards.

Anagram rush

I live this game! So alike the bandages game which is my fave game. Now I can play on my phone and with my friend in a cafe. Amazing. Love it x

Stuck

Had a “V” and I couldn’t place it anywhere— and I hit every button and couldn’t figure out the next step or how to cancel or move forward.

Fun, but needs work

-Please add a zoom feature where you can directly change zoom by either “pinching” the screen either in or out. This will be a much smoother and seamless version compared to manually clicking “zoom” in the corner and adjusting.

-Maybe add like a statistics feature. Where it keeps track of how many times you’ve used a word in a completed board.

Fun when it works

Constantly is glitching and can’t play friends. Tried to delete and add and now I can’t play time trials.

Very very frustrating

So limited in functionality… despite purchasing the ‘no ads’ version.
Nothing like playing bananagrams. Back to the physical world and real tiles. =-))

Bananagrams almost Dupe

Hopeful for an update. Playing with added friends has not worked for me. The best luck we had was to sit in the same room but there is always a glitch in someone’s tiles. Solo time works great.

I’ve identified the issue affecting multiplayer and private games that was causing the tile glitches you described. A fix is included in version 2.2, which should be releasing in the next few days. Once you and your friends update, you should have a much smoother multiplayer experience from anywhere in the world, not just in the same room. My favorite iPhone game by far

Earlier I wrote a harsh review about this game based on an update that was buggy. I should have cooled out, he fixed that update and this is a brilliant little word game. Tons of fun, no ads make you have to restart or sit through it. Great game.

Slow letters

Very slow at moving letters around, you need to wait a while between grabbing each one

Performance improvements around dragging and responsiveness are something I’m actively working on, and some optimisations have already gone into recent updates. Love this game! Pls bring back black background!

Been enjoying this app since its infancy as a huge banana grams fan this scratched that itch for me especially since you can play alone in the speed trial! It continues to be improved and updated and I’m enjoying watching it grow!

One request: recently the board changed to white background spaces for placing the tiles… I’d love the option to change that back to black as it really hurts my eyes lol

Love it!

Sometimes glitchy but I can play in time trial with no problems. Happy to be able to play a game so similar to banagrams on my phone. Every update that comes out the app improves quite a bit , seems like they are just working out kinks.

There have been some improvements

The app did refresh its design and was very difficult to read as it was extremely too busy but this seems to have been improved.

Update glitch?

Main playing board doesn’t look like plain squares anymore… it’s neon purple with some sort of obnoxious circular graphic for each open place for a tile. It’s incredibly difficult to see any letters with that background. Definitely makes it unplayable for me. Hoping it’s just a mistake and will be fixed soon.

Awful update

This used to be one of my favourite apps but the “new look” makes it virtually impossible to use. The horrible purple background and silly little squiggles are confusing to the eye. Please bring back a plain background and proper tiles.
