Mixed feelings
Prior to the latest update if I closed the app after use then the next time I opened it the search field would be clear. Now, even if I clear the search field before closing the app, it reverts to the previous search when next opened.
I find this rather odd.
Otherwise a very useful resource.
Update. Thank you Mark Bailey for your response. Having adjusted my settings I am now much happier with this app.

Used to be much better. So many ‘words’ now are not found in the dictionary and simply combinations of letters - pointless
Best anagram & xword helper
The recent updates have enabled the filters to remain intact when changing letter patterns. This is a really helpful functional improvement. Every known global spelling variations seem to be present too.

Great app
This has been my go to app for my word games when I’m stumped. It never seems to fail me. The developer is very responsive to questions and suggestions. I emailed him one day about a concern and the following day there was a new update to address it. Can’t beat that.
New iteration not as effective
I could previously breeze through most crosswords using this app. Now the search for Word using the dot to substitute letter does not seem to work as effectively. However, I do appreciate certain updates like the ability to view history.
Marc has now explained to me how the app works just dots. I do believe this app to be the best Crossword aid on the market and I have reevaluated it to a five star rating.

You’ve changed it 😫
Why fix what wasn’t broken 🙁 ? I love this app and have used it for a long time. It was so easy to use. Too many things in the filter now and it doesn’t clear automatically anymore ! 😢
Excellent help for me
I discovered this app several years ago and it has relieved me of all the frustration of not being able to finish all the word games and puzzles I play. I have always had short term memory problems, but this app has helped me improve my memory

Essential tool for crossword fans
Anagrams are only a fraction of what this app can do. As a long time fan of cryptic crosswords I can now challenge the really tough examples, and with a very good chance of beating them. Five stars and many thanks.

Spelling
Why can’t you use the English dictionary and not the USA one. eg color (USA) colour. uk. Center (USA) centre (uk) this can be Confusing. Plus words many words that no one has ever heard of especially in ‘words with friends’
The Best App
The BEST APP whether free or a fee Anshram is the best of the best. I use it for business, play, and all inbetween. If you need Anabrams, definitions, and a host of more. Or had a recent brain damage inside like i have, ANAGRAM SOLVER is a life saver.

I love this game but it only gets three stars because it needs a much better dictionary. It doesn’t let me have lots of words that are perfectly acceptable in other games
