Will Not Upgrade
This may be abandoned as I have seen a few reviews saying so. I decided to download it and did like it. But I cannot purchase the pro version. On my iPad and my iPhone choosing Go Pro crashes right to the Home Screen. As this is the way developers would get money I can but assume that if they won’t fix that bug then the app is truly abandoned.

I am a titled chess player. This app should get flushed into a black hole it is:
1. Impossible to upgrade to the “Pro” version on iPadOS 16+.
2. The supplied engine is Stockfish 11. Really? We’re already using Stockfish 15, this is incredibly bad for an app that wants money from you.
3. It’s impossible to accomplish anything on the free version because ADS continually intrude.
If it were possible to give negative stars, this app would get 5.
Spare yourself the aggravation and forgo this junk.

Please update the app so that I can manage the engine.
Great but…
I love the way it is integrated with Follow Chess, but I have two issues:
1. The variations that are given are often very short or abbreviated so much as to be useless for understanding how the given line will proceed.
2. The version of Stockfish that is used (11) is pretty old and much weaker than the most modern engines.

Great App, but please update to latest Stockfish!
I absolutely adore this app.. It separates itself from others in its unique ability to view up to TEN lines of the game. It would be the best if it was the latest version of stockfish and I’m begging the developers to make this happen. Make this app #1 as it deserves to be!!
Good but could use improvement
Very handy but can only do analysis for game positions, not arbitrary puzzles.
Suggestion
Possible to add an option to put your saved games in different folders?
Confusing and pro version does not work
Difficult to use. Had to play around with all of the buttons and still couldn’t figure out how to analyze past 1 move. Bought the pro version and it would not work. Pretty sure it stole my money
Unusable on iPad Pro
Keep locking, not responding to touches etc… can’t interrupt the app when analyzing…
App trouble:
I had previously bought the pro version, and now when I go into the app to get the premium version it says no history of purchase. So the premium version being cheap I went to rebuy it, only all my attempts just lead back to my Home Screen every attempt I make to rebuy it. This is very frustrating, in that I do not have access to the premium version for whatever app error is occurring.

No updates in 8 months??
No updates in eight months and the developer will not respond to questions. Still using stockfish 11 whereas the SmallFish app is currently using stockfish 14, does everything this app does and more, and it is free!!! Don’t waste your money here.

Still the best chess analyzing app there is! Easy to use, great interface, and perfect problem solver! Nothing else comes close!!
Good Features but some bugs
I like the ability to be able to set up your board and have it analyze it. Some of the bug are when you save a game if you’re doing multiple games and you go back to the game it has not been saved properly. It tends be an older version of the game you saved and updated. Tried seeing how to contact the developer but was unable to find a link to contact them to submit this issue and see if they could fix it.

This is my favorite chess app for analysis and playing through games.
Handy portable chess analysis and annotation
This is a great app for iOS when you just want to analyze a chess game using your iPhone or iPad. I usually use Fritz but I don’t like using Windows on the PC and there are no similar tools for OS X. This app really pushes your iPhone CPU and you get the most value out of your expensive device! But one thing missing is the ability to adjust the threshold of centipawns to trigger a variant recommendation. If the developer can just add that it would be a real good rival to even Fritz.

Split screen experience needs to be improved.
When used in split screen mode on iPad, the position setup UI is bugged. Also it would be very convenient if there is a one-click shortcut from the analyze tab to the position setup tab.
