App insstalls with its Bluetooth turned off!
This app installs with bluetooth turned off, so it looks like the battery module is dead. Go to settings on your phone, select Apps, then Ancel Battery Monitor. Turn Bluetooth on.
I didn't install it yet. I just tested it in my office by connecting it to an adjustable power supply and it works fine, soI expect it will work fine in the car.

Car battery monitoring
Use this on my wife’s 2021 Jeep Rubicon because it is not drivin’ on a constantly daily during the winter. Works awesome only issue is small but disconnects all the time. So have to link , but does what it says it will do. Helps a lot
Excellent but…
I have been using this battery monitor and app to monitor my RV battery for about a year now. The monitor works great. The app installed easily and connected to the monitor device easily and the entire system works well. So well that I’d like to monitor my utility tractor’s battery too but I see no way of setting up a second monitor (or third, forth, etc.) without corrupting the RV battery data.

Please update!
It would be amazing if we could calibrate voltage for devices out of normal range. Mine is .4 of a volt off . Simple update with the option for calibration would make the purchase that much better! Please consider!
Works Ok
I have the BM300 battery monitor. I mostly use it to monitor battery voltage. APP is very easy to use with all the functions.
Sometimes syncing data takes a bit long, but the biggest complaint I would have lately is at least once a day it will not let me use it until I upgrade the firmware. I upgrade to V8, successfully it says. Then the next day I need to upgrade to V8 again? Done this 6-8 times now! Every time it says “Success”!!!!

Not giving me battery life
So I bought this so it would give the battery life percentage when I wanted it. Beware it does not give nor send any notification at all on the battery life percentage nor notification of status.
Terrible App, inaccurate and ridiculous bad support
Install the unit on my Tesla OEM battery, and immediately I could tell that this was a joke of a product. The fonts did not allow the messages to be displayed, the graphs were not accurate or legible and cannot update firmware using the app.
Contacted support and ask they did was want to ask me more questions rather than offer simple answer to, is there newer firmware. The questions appear to be from ChatBot AI and the more I asked for support, the more they asked ridiculous questions that had nothing to do with the device.
I would not recommend this at all since my confidence in the readings are very suspect.

Great app except one thing
ANCEL Battery Monitor is a great app to monitor your battery’s health. You need a physical hardware in conjunction with blue tooth. It allows you to see crank voltage and voltage over time at idle and charging. I would give this a 5-star if it allows e Perot of the data to PDF format especially trip data. I do hope the developers add this feature as future updates.

What a waste of time and money. After repeated messages to customer service I have yet to receive a response. Garbage service and their products.
Doesn’t support multiple cars
The app doesn’t support more than one car. So if you have more than one battery monitor it’ll just connect to the first one it sees. And there’s no telling which car it’s connected to since you can’t label them either.
Simple app MUST buy the device too
Got the device on Amazon, hooked it up, installed this app and it just connects and works. I’m not sure what would happen if you had 2 monitoring devices but with 1 it amazing and simple.
Great tool
It’s a great little unit to save you from calling AAA to jump your car because you didn’t know your battery was dead.

Had sent message through there app to inquire about not knowing if I had the latest version or not.
Over the day, less than 24 hours a new app update came out and was very surprised as to how quick this help answer my issue I was having.
I am gratefully appreciate of there fast help in resolving this.

Battery Monitor
I installed this on my RV batteries, two 12 volt in parallel, to monitor parasitic battery drain. I am absolutely amazed at the information that is charted and the ease of accessing the voltage over a 24hr period. I only use it to monitor voltage and for the price of this device, it’s outstanding! Also great for monitoring the smart charger. I have no problems getting into the app, granted you can’t get too far away. It’s mounted in the step well battery compartment, metal enclosure.

Works fine. Instructions indecipherable
I had no troubled installing the battery analyzer on my new car battery. I live in Arizona and car batteries have a predictable two year life because of the heat. My car is a Tesla and if the 12V goes without warning you lose access to the vehicle along with almost every function except the motor which is a completely separate system. I also just installed a new Li Ion 12V battery which is guaranteed to last 48 months and reviews well exceed that. So the Issue for me is uncharted territory. The voltage part of the analyzer is all I need so the instructions are not critical but printed instructions will help anyone who needs more functions. They are really almost indecipherable to an English speaker. They desperately need to be written by a native or fluent English speaker. Useless otherwise.

This app is nice and I really like having it linked to my truck because it alerts me when the battery drops below 80 percent. You can change it to a different percentage if you want.

App doesn’t work. Email customer service and they tell me it does and they just updated it. It doesn’t! Too bad, the little scanner is great and the primary app for the scanner works well. Would’ve loved it if this app functioned at all, but it doesn’t even sync from the scanner to the app

Nothing works no data transfer no nothing and I’m educated when it comes to electronics so fix this crap I’m requesting a refund
