About

Your habit didn't fail. The design did. 80% of habit app users quit within 2 weeks — not because they're lazy, but because the habits were designed wrong. Too big. No trigger. No recovery when they miss a day. Anchor fixes the design, not just the tracking. THE ANCHOR METHOD Anchor is built on habit stacking — the science of attaching a new behaviour to something you already do automatically. Instead of "try harder", you design habits that slot naturally into your day. Based on BJ Fogg's Tiny Habits method from Stanford University. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick your goal (exercise, sleep, focus, reading) 2. Shrink it to a 2-minute version you can't say no to 3. Attach it to an existing routine — your anchor 4. Show up. That's it. WHAT YOU GET - Guided habit design in under 5 minutes - Smart reminders that fire right before your anchor moment - Streak tracking that keeps you honest — without punishing one missed day - Progress dashboard with completion rates and best-day insights - Streak freeze — because real life happens - Works offline. No account required. No subscription. WHY IT WORKS Motivation follows action, not the other way around. The 2-minute rule breaks the "I don't feel like it" barrier every single time. Anchor users report feeling like the habit is part of their existing routine within 2 weeks. FOCUS AREAS Health & Body — exercise, water, sleep, stretching Mind & Focus — meditation, journaling, reading, learning Work & Career — deep work, planning, skill building Finance — saving, budgeting, tracking PRIVACY FIRST No account. No cloud sync. No subscription. All your habit data stays on your device, always. Built with care. No ads. No noise.

What's New in Anchor

1.0.2

March 22, 2026

This update is all about making Anchor feel more polished and personal. Redesigned habit creation — Pick an emoji from a curated grid, choose your accent color, and type a custom trigger (or pick from presets). Everything in one smooth 3-step flow. Smarter habit editing — You can now set a custom trigger and a custom reminder time directly from the edit screen. The reminder picker now shows which time is currently active. Cleaner home screen — Removed the grid view and progress ring to keep the focus on what matters: your habits for today. New habits now appear at the top. Bug fixes — Fixed emoji clipping in habit cards, fixed dot colors in light mode on the My Habits screen, and removed the duplicate Save button from the edit screen.
