Love this game

I thought it was brilliant! A lot of time and money goes into these. For a small budget I feel they did great. This my kind of relaxed game play. Sequel please, I’d buy it.

Deserves way more support

Third time writing this, previous two long reviews erased by godawful buggy AppStore reviews design that not only erases everything if you switch screens in any way, but now also apparently times out without warning in around 15 minutes.

So I’ll make it quick. This is an excellent modern point and click adventure game, faithful to the genre with smooth and current professional design. It deserves far better ratings and reviews than the nitpicking and petty dumping it’s gotten. If you want well written, clever, visually engaging, and generally high quality games in this financially disadvantaged niche market, then supporting this for a measly five bucks isn’t much to ask.

Developers took all the risk upfront investing time, talent, treasure; prove it with a generous amount of free gameplay; and seek so little in return. At the very least, rate it in accordance with how apps are actually judged, and if you enjoyed it just give the five stars it has earned rather than needing to cut to 3-4 bc you found some petty flaw. Rate & review in consideration of the big picture in which support is merited and vital.

Otherwise, expect few and soon no gems like this, as they drown in an endless sea of subscription fee clones. All the illusionary “free” games that lead people to think $5 is a crazy price are making money by data mining, ads, paywalls after you’re hooked, etc. It’s amazing that we still have any choices like this, please do what you can to preserve that.

Good and bad

Of its genre, the best graphics, sound and plot. I enjoyed the humour and the characters. The controls around the screens are annoying however. Click on the wrong area and you have to listen to reams of repeated chat again. Bizarre non-intuitive puzzles. Fun in a way, but does not lend itself to flowing gameplay. You can’t move quickly from location to location and you spend your time trying random objects in places that makes zero sense.

But I’ll remember this game though and its quirks. You will definitely need the YouTube walkthrough to complete it!

Pretty Original

The game was challenging. Original storyline and characters. Played and saved perfectly. Possible reference to Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle. At times, I wasn’t sure what my objective was, lost sight of direction or what I was trying to accomplish but eventually figured it out. You can double-click and Angelo will walk faster. Hot spots would have been nice. I was hoping for stats at the end of my accomplishments but didn’t see that. I got this at an amazing price of 99 cents so a fantastic bargain. Artwork and other aesthetics were nice too.

Begging for more games!

In my top three favorite point and click adventure games of all time. Begging and willing to sacrifice a limb for a part two, sequel, or anything you release that is anything close to, or similar to this amazing game. I can’t see anyone buying this game and regretting it. Well done devs.
