Great app!

Love this App! It does alert you at the Angelus Prayer times and allows you to choose the Bell tones. The only thing that would take it to the next step is if the bells would start ringing at the prayer times instead of just sending an alert. Perhaps it does and I haven’t figured it out yet.

What a kind review! The bell you pick should play with each alert when your ringer is on. iPhone mutes it on silent, and we're looking into a way to let it ring through. Thank you for praying with us! God reward you! #PrayTheAngelus

Throwback to old Christendom

I've always wanted to pray the Angelus but never could remember. This app has helped me immensely in remembering when to say it and the bells are a throwback to days of old when the church bells would ring out and call all to prayer.

Deo gratias!!! Your experience is exactly what we hoped for. We're honored to help the old tradition live on in your day. God reward you! #PrayTheAngelus

Lovely and Useful

Since churches no longer ring their bells and I live in a very rural area with only cows and such, no churches, this is so helpful.

Even if I’m grocery shopping, I’ll stop where I am and say the Agelus. I get some strange looks but I don’t care, I’m honoring our Blessed Mother, who I’ll never be ashamed of honoring.

Your witness is beautiful!!! We're honored to be your church bell. Our Lady surely sees your love for her. God reward you! #PrayTheAngelus

The Bells are no longer Silenced

I can remember when you could always hear the church bells where ever you were. Now in this modern time, many have gone silent. With all the noise around us people found it disturbing, and churches gave in. It is so nice to have an app that reminds us through out the day to turn our attention to something more important. To hear those church bells ring once again. It is also great that the prayers are provided. No searching or trying to remember.

Your words moved us. Bringing the bells back into daily life is exactly what we hoped for. Thank you so much for ringing them with us! God reward you! #PrayTheAngelus

Great way to pray

I love the prompts. I’m praying these prayers much more consistently now because of the notifications. I especially love that tapping the notification takes you straight to the prayer, and the bell chimes are going as soon as you open it. It makes it really easy to pause and pray in the moment. Thank you!

Helps me “pray without ceasing!”

Cannot express how helpful the daily Angelus devotion is to keeping my prayer and spiritual life on track! This simple app (there’s not much to it) is a real game changer for keeping my heart and mind fixed on Christ throughout the hectic nature of modern family and professional life.

Helpful reminder

Love this app! Due to my schedule I only have it notify me at noon. But I pray immediately and know many others are doing the dam thing at the same time. I love being able to change which bells I hear. Great that it’s in both English and Latin as well! Please donate, even a small amount no doubt helps. There are no ads or anything, just a quick reminder on both my phone and watch to stop and say this simple lovely quick prayer of the ages. Thank you to the app developers!

A Beautiful app

This app is beautiful, simple, and very well-done. Even better, it fosters unity in Holy Mother Church by helping us all pray together around the world. Many thanks to the developer!

Sacred Prayer

Love this app for its simplicity with deep results. There are times when I’m not able to actually separate myself to pray with the bells, but I’m still reminded in my heart of the prayer and the knowledge that others across the world are praying with me.

Love it!

I’m so happy that there are apps out here to help us grow closer to Our Lord. I had just recently learned about and started praying the Angelus and this app has made ever much simpler and so glorious to hear the beautiful bells. I use it 3 times a day and don’t get tired of hearing the bells. 💖

Helps With Consistency

I could never pull off the three-times-a-day custom without this app! I don’t get the app’s notification when my phone is using Apple Car Play. I would welcome the Angelus app overriding whatever music I’m streaming at the time if I’m driving. Sometimes I notice what time it is after the proper time and go womp, womp womp. I’m nonetheless deeply grateful for the app and its easy-to-use features!

Thank you so much! We're grateful to help you keep the custom. We're sorry the alert doesn't reach you in CarPlay, and we're looking into it. Until then, Our Lady surely hears a late Angelus too! God reward you! #PrayTheAngelus

Fantastic app

Easy to use, looks great, not cluttered with unnecessary features. Has the bells but no whistles, as it should. Bell choices are great (Holy Ghost Cathedral is best imo.) I wish the chime could override my phone's silent mode, but I don't know how technology works or if that's possible. Overall, 6 out of 5!
