AnglerSlate is a fully offline, private fishing journal for recording trips and catches that already happened, then learning from your own history. • Start a trip and manually record the spot, water type, and time • Log species, tackle, catch time, weight, length, and notes • Keep only one fishing trip active at a time • Review read-only trip summaries, species breakdowns, and tackle patterns • Search history by time, spot, or species • Manage reusable species and tackle names • Switch between metric and imperial units • Export one trip or share a complete JSON backup • Recover from a verified backup if a local file is damaged AnglerSlate needs no account and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, in-app purchase, or subscription. It does not need a network connection and requests no location, camera, photo, or notification permission. Spots are entered manually. Records stay on the current device unless you explicitly export a file. This is a private record-keeping tool. It does not provide weather, tides, navigation, social feeds, competitions, species identification, or fishing advice.
