Ani Papyrus

Wall of Knowledge is an augmented reality (AR) mobile application developed by Bibliotheca Alexandrina that presents Egyptian heritage in an engaging and user-friendly way. 'Book of the Dead', Papyrus of Ani, is one of the funerary books from the New Kingdom period. It depicts the moment of the "judgment of the dead" and the weighing of the heart against the Feather of Ma'at (the symbol of truth and justice) to determine the fate of the deceased. The application allows users to interact with scenes from the papyrus and enjoy a musical and vocal performance for each scene of the judgment in ancient Egyptian, accompanied by a textual translation.
