Missed hand shake? No problem!

I messed up the handshake by thinking I could delete the app after I transferred… horrible mistake on my part. Nintendo should have made that abundantly clear to its users, especially since so many have paid into the app for so many years and also the $20 for ACPC Complete. Still, it’s a cute game, and even though I’ve lost everything, this little app is a nice way to kill interim time instead of doom scrolling, which I loath. The game seems to have made it easier to acquire items so with a little determination and patience you can get your stuff back.

No New Updates

What a shame that you have to pay $20 for a game that will never receive new updates, items, villagers, NOTHING. I remember playing this game when it was free, and how betrayed I felt when Nintendo decided to delete your save data if you didn’t decide to pay to continue. At first, I just let it go, but after a couple years I picked it back up because there is no other game like it. I hope Nintendo decides to revive this game with new updates, items, clothes, anything—because ranking top 10 in the app store even after 8 years is 1000% indicative that there is a demand!

Love Animal Crossing

I have been a fan of Animal Crossing since I played the New Horizons. Now I'm addicted to it

While I did play the old version

I am someone who will play a game without spending any money if possible so very grateful with my past with not wanting to purchase the Passes that they had with the old version of the game.

I do love the new version, but I am so sad that they got rid of the “Splatoon”, “Mario” & “Sanrio” collaboration items they were so cute and colourful I really hope they bring them back.

Just Ok

More taken away than added, Whistle Pass is cute and it’s nice to see the friends we once had and receiving a gift a day and 2 attempts at shovel strike quarry. Unfortunately everyone who said good bye in their names before the online game ended will always have that name. Shovel Strike Quarry should offer maps instead of crafting material, most ends up getting sold instead of excess going into the mailbox. What happened to My Nintendo points? Why was the HH for Events and Fortune Cookies taken away? Why weren’t the empty spots where friend’s campers were filled with a couple trees. Why can’t the Friends at Whistle Pass give the fruit we did not get, the lemons, grapes or lychee or this trees given to everyone while filling up the empty spots? The first Garden event, only a few flower seeds were given, not like before, had to buy seeds several times. Since there is no competition between friends during the fishing tourney, why can’t the golden pole be purchased instead of rented? After 6 of the 7 years I’ve played this game, I would rather see more crafting supply maps than bells/mega bells maps. Understandable there may be new players or some who played online may have started fresh but for those who just continued the bells maps really aren’t needed while the crafting materials are to send off Gulliver’s Ship would be used more. Also all auto trek of the maps should have the ability to be purchased with bells. I can see this game getting boring fast like the other versions.

Update: after close to 2 years of the game being taken offline & going as a stand alone game it is just a repeat of the prior years. All events are what was already played over the years. No extra storage. It would be nice if they would at least take overage of supplies...wood, steel, cotton, paper & preserves & give us maps to use later instead of automatically sell. It's rare to get maps now.

The Funnest I’ve Had Since New Horizons

I love this game! Thank you for packing all 7 years into a complete version for the fans! I just started playing it now so I’m years behind, but I’m so grateful it’s complete and I don’t have to spend in-game. Nintendo you’ll always have my heart.

Great game but can be a little annoying

Love the game, but hated the unskippable gameplay scenes. Cute

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It is awesome!!!!! I’ve been playing it for a long time and I love it

Camp

Oh, I love this game but I don’t like why the animals talk to you so much so this game got a four star rate

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude

Please please add SpongeBob furniture please 🙏 I beg you to add SpongeBob furniture

Reoccurring Charges

This app did not tell me there was a monthly charge. Very disappointing with the surprise charges

Lost all my save data…

ACPC was my introduction to the Animal Crossing franchise and I played it from its release in 2017 up until it was shut down in 2024. I obviously bought complete to continue playing and transfer my data but ended up deleting the app temporarily to make more space on my phone. I only found out afterwards that deleting the app eventually deletes all your save data as well. I can’t lie I’m truly devastated to have lost almost 8 years of gameplay and just can’t understand why a *paid* version of the game is formatted like this even when you’re logged in through your nintendo account… Not sure I’ll play it again since I would have to start from scratch, just confused as to why they set up the app this way :(

Cool game

I love it … and it’s right on my iPhone!

So fun

However we really need more item space on campsites. Work so hard for all the items and can’t even make camp how we want with the item limit of 100. The new option to have code pathing eats it up so quickly when using on a camp and it’s not fair!

Friends

This is honestly just the best game I’ve ever played because it’s like you get to make so many friends learn so many new things, but Rosie and Jay have been really kind to me(players) 100 out of 100

Scratches the itch

A couple things I would add are the ability to display bugs/fish and fossils!

Bored

It’s nothing like the other one

Love it

I love how you just have to grind for the leaf tickets and bells and not having to pay real money for them. This new Animal Crossing update is amazing but please bring back the market place to get more bells.

One of the best!

I really love this game! I love Nintendo games and that is why I love this game! 99.9% get the game!!! The only part I don’t like is I have to delete it to get a new world!

Awesome

It is better than the previous version
