About

Found an injured cat on the street? A dog wandering with no owner in sight? The hard part is almost never finding someone who cares — it's finding someone who can drive. Animal SOS is a volunteer network that connects whoever found an animal in distress with whoever is close enough to help: to catch it, to hold it, and above all to transport it. How it works • Photograph and report — one photo and a location. No sign-up, about 30 seconds. • AI identifies the animal and its breed, and tells you immediately who is responsible for it. • Volunteers within the radius they chose get an instant alert with the details. • Rescue relay: whoever catches the animal doesn't have to drive it. The task is re-broadcast to the next driver. • Live tracking at every stage, with a chat per case, Waze navigation, and a closing outcome. Pets with a microchip A chipped cat or dog has a short way home. Save the number in the report and open the national registry in one tap — sometimes the whole rescue ends with a single phone call to the owner. Wildlife goes to the authority Under Israeli law, handling a wild animal requires coordination with the Nature and Parks Authority, which already runs its own volunteer network. So when the app identifies a wild animal it does not dispatch a volunteer: it shows safety guidance and dials the national *3639 hotline, open 24/7. We cover exactly what has no address of its own. For volunteers Sign up with a name and phone, pick your alert radius (1, 5 or 15 km), and accept tasks in one tap. Transport tasks are limited to verified volunteers. For vet clinics, shelters and foster homes Get an access code and your own dashboard: see what's on its way to you and confirm intake. Completely free. No ads.
