Good knots but outdated
The knots are all pretty good and the app makes them easy to learn but the interface looks very outdated and is a little hard to navigate
This App is great!
I love this app and you should download it. It has a lot of knots ranging from easy to hard. This app is also used for scouting!
It doesn’t give me a square knot
Because I don’t, I tried everything to do a square knot but I don’t I know how to do one, but it won’t let me do it on this app
Excellent app
This app saved my behind! For context, I’m a scout and I was taking the merit badge small boat sailing. For this merit badge, you are required to know the bow-line knot, two half hitches, and the cleat hitch. I already knew the cleat hitch, and two half hitches is just a taut line with less steps, but the bow-line I had long forgotten. So I got this app so that I might learn it, and I found that it’s easier to do it the way the app shows you, laying it flat on a table then completing the steps. This app is wonderful, again. I truly think that more people should have it.

From beginner to funtionnal
Great app for learning. Covers all the Best knots!
Really Handy for New Campers
I love how it’s both searchable and organized by categories. The taut-line hitch animation needs fixed.
Very useful app
It is useful for everyone
Not as good as the website
The website gives much better advice on the advantages and disadvantages. Also how to dress knots so they are properly tied.
Brilliant Epic Excellent
3D. Yeah!!!

Not great
How can this be rated so high without a trucker’s hitch or a bowline?
Messy, but Useful
Pros:
This app is free, and has a relatively large collection of knots, including many useful variations of a few common knots.
The animations (except for two or three which don’t play right,) are very helpful for learning to tie the knots.
Overall, it’s a great way to simply add quite a few interesting knots to your repertoire, if you’re just start to learn knot-tying as a hobby.
Cons:
The “About This Knot” sections, where there is a blurb of information about each knot, are usually pretty short, inconsistent in the type of information they provide, and, worst of all, very badly written. Like, it seems like it was all written by Gen 2.5 AI and not proofread by a human at all, or at least not someone who knows English very well. There’s also a lot of verbiage which might be accurate, but is not explained at all and totally confusing to a novice such as myself.
There are a few examples of knots that appear to be exactly the same as another knot on the list, but have different names and no mention of the other in their totally unique information section. In some other cases, the information section compares the knot to another knot which is not included in the app at all.
The organization of the knots is a bit hard to follow. There’s one section that separates the knots by their associated activities (climbing, fishing, ect.) and another section that categorizes knots by their type, (hitches, bends, ect.,) but some of the knots can only be found in one of these two sections.

So if you are a girl scout and a Junior, you have to get this.

Easy to understand
This app is great for learning different types of knots. Very intuitive. Recommend highly just download.
Nagging
It’s a nice app, but it started bugging me g me for reviews and won’t stop.
Perfect knot app!
Knowing how to tie a good knot is one of those things you don’t think you’ll need, until you do!
I always had difficulty remembering how to tie the more difficult knots, but now I just open this app.

Bad update without data
New version will not load any knots or English language, keeps my previous version from opening.. very head support!!!
Awesome!
The app is cool because it’s free but it doesn’t have Bracelet tutorials🙁
Mattsemoto
Excellent app! Great variable speed animation makes it very easy to follow the instruction. More than enough knots to suit just about every application. Highly recommend!
Good App … But
I really like this app but the some bugs. The 3D animation for how to tie a Taut-Line Hitch is messed up.
