This is the Best livestreams ever
We watch it at home for 4 days all year on this July with all of my plushies to line up.
2026 version kind of bare bones
Here are a couple of things I think would be helpful for future versions.
(1) The ability to add notes to selected panels, performances, and activities. Previous versions of the app had this feature.
(2) The ability to color code said panels, performances, and activities
(3) The ability to add your own time slots. This would be helpful since the booth activities are not part of the SPJA planning and therefore aren’t automatically included in the app.
(4) The app being able to shift depending on if the phone is held sideways or not. This would be particularly helpful for the time slot grid display.

Overall app
2026 Anime Expo and all I have to say about this app it’s good for keeping track of stuff but whoever runs the maps needs to be fired it is not useful whatsoever like I wish they could adopt a map from like knots Barry farm or Disney bc it doesn’t even tell you your exact location like those apps do just a tip that would be better for the app

Functional but features lacking
I appreciate it being up to date, but I have this app on my phone and my pad as the pad is easier to use BUT I can’t link the two so any event I find on the pad has to be hand transcribed to my phone. Extremely annoying. And now I’m locked out of the profile I made so all my saved items are unavailable. Great.

Good for notification but horrible at others
So I used the app for giving me a notice when it is coming. Sadly due to loud noice, you would be unable to hear. The map is confusing since I wouldn’t know where is what. In the end, I do hope someone improve this in the near future.
Full screen ads
Paid hundreds for tickets to Ax. Every single time I open the app is a full screen ad.
Shows a lewd ad on every open of the app
I’m not sure how this passed App Store review. Literally shows an ad every time you open the app that’s rather lewd. Not family safe and incredibly annoying.
Stop it with the AI hentai popups
Every time you do anything on this app you get a faux virus popup with scantily clad bunny girl figures and AI art. Are you for real?

too many ads, pay almost $200 for a badge but get constant ads on the app. useless.

As you can see from my previous review, I used to think this app was great for the most part, but it turns out that every time they make any data change, it shuffles all your favorites. If I hadn’t noticed this in advance I would have been at the con with absolutely no idea of all the places I marked down as wanting to go to. I spent hours checking over artists and marking which booths I wanted to visit and now it’s all lost, and my agenda items have all also turned into other things. Genuinely the worst app I have ever had the displeasure of using, because it tricks you into thinking it’s helpful and good and then leaves you in the dirt with no warning. As a software developer myself, I can only imagine the awful lazy code leading to this mess of an app.
OLD REVIEW TEXT: I’m not really sure how to rate this honestly, the features are great and the only thing that’s missing is the ability to mark cosplay gatherings in our schedules (maybe let us add custom notes at certain times since I know cosplay gatherings aren’t as set in stone as everything else?) The big problem is the ad that pops up every time you even switch apps for half a second. I already have a ticket, and yet this thing constantly pops up. The last thing I want to deal with while trying to navigate a chaotic convention is for my guide app to pop up ads for something I obviously already have every time I switch apps.

Hate the ads
Already spend a few thousand every year to go. Absolutely hate that the app forces an ad every time I open it to look at schedule.

Lacking schedule options
No ability to share schedule, seems like a basic feature
Horrible.
Such a difficult app to use not helpful, very stressful makes me wish I could cancel my ticket to the event but they’re non refundable. Such a scam. It’s going to be my first time attending and it is difficult to get excited for it when the process to get tickets and activate them is just too difficult

Gets the job done
Good experience, app UI is a bit outdated and rough
Decent but needs some modifications
Overall decent. Would be great if:
1) When you click on an event/panel/performance/ etc in the schedule , it shows you where on the map it is located and where the line is located.
2) if you could set a custom alert/reminder for your scheduled events. Right now the only option is a 10 minute reminder. Many times you must be in line 30+ minutes before an event. A 10 minute reminder is useless.
3) if the map of artist alley was more detailed. Names of vendors instead of numbers would be great!

Wonderful Experience!
First time at this Convention as my son’s vision escort. Everyone has a helpful. Environment is safe and positive. Able to use app and program to find events. Shuttle is very much appreciated.
