Too many of these synth apps cannot sync to a simple midi din adapter interface but Animoog connects beautifully.
Could be better
Nice synth, but no record feature beside the looper makes it useless. Opening it in a daw so you can record what you’re doing is dumb, especially if you think there was a recorder in previous versions.
Am I enjoying Animoog?
The answer to this question is: “Yes”. Fantastic synth. MPE. Very powerful and can be used as an effect as well.

—-When using note hold you cannot put Animoog Z into the background without playing notes because the app doesn’t handle the white app switching bar on the bottom margin well at all. Offloaded app for now.
