Animopus is an app that allows children to draw characters on paper using any art supplies they choose. Once the drawing is complete, parents can take a picture of it, and the app animates the drawing into a cartoon.
Instead of passively watching cartoons, children are encouraged to use their imagination and physical drawing skills to create the main characters. This active participation fosters creativity and imagination as they decide what to draw and how.
The app is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases. These purchases likely unlock additional themes, characters, or features within the app.
The app is designed for children aged 2 to 6 years old. It focuses on simple drawing and animation processes that are engaging for this age group.
Using Animopus helps children develop their imagination and creativity by actively participating in the creation process. It also serves to reduce passive screen time and allows families to build a digital collection of their child's unique artwork.
