Waste of time and money
The mobile app works fine but users a lot of battery on phone tried for three days to connect to ANNKE pc app it’s basically not comparable despite all the 2 mins YouTube vids it just does not connect

They don’t care enough!
They are not a local co (to uk) and their support is v poor. Based in China, they don’t speak good English, hence can’t reply! The app misses a few basic functions. Glitchy. Playback is dire! They released a new PTZ camera with flaws they told me. Thanks but why? Buy better, elsewhere. Update 1/25. I bought another brand Reolink, better, and the App is far superior.

This app does not push notifications to my iPhone, so it’s useless, why do you need if it doesn’t notify me anything
No longer works with iOS 17
AI person tracking does not function properly. The camera can’t keep up with movement and ends up pointed in random directions.
Push notifications no longer work so no movement/person detection is sent to phone despite notifications showing in app history - tested on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
9 months after purchase Annke told me I am out of warranty and won’t fix the issue or offer any solution at all. If you buy these cameras, don’t expect them to function as advertised.

Very poor app
The camera is good but the app lets the whole user experience down. Unable to use an iPad with an iPhone to monitor the same camera at different times. If you are logged in with the ipad, but not using, you cannot log in with the phone as the app locks you out. You have to then delete the app then reload it to work with the phone, this then locks out the ipad. Very frustrating. Needs to be sorted.

App glitchy and could be a lot better.
I bought the camera to monitor and record anti-social behaviour in the area as the police require evidence of illegal activities.
The ANNKE Camera is great. With a lot of features.
The app is glitchy and frustrating. Some of the advertised or implied features (from the web app) do not work or not present within the app, such as Auto Tour. The app also forgets or mixes up the saved sites that you want to be able to access on the camera.
It’s close to being really good, but just falling a little short.

Stuck with them/ it now, having paid a hefty price. They released a new camera with flaws they tell me. Thnx!! Buy something better, elsewhere.

My opinion on this camera/ App
The camera itself is good, good quality and very easy to use. The “microphone” to talk through is very glitchy you can’t make out what they/ you are saying.
I volunteer at a local cat rescue and use my spare room as a cat hotel for sick cats that need a little more attention 24h a day. This camera helps me keep a close eye even if I’m not home or in another room.
However any movement at all it says human body detected. Even a curtain blowing in the wind.
Now I have gotten used to this notification and know it’s the cats moving around however if this is used as a security feature it could be quite alarming. This all depends on the purpose of the camera.
As for my biggest bug bare. Me and my husband both like to check on the cats. And it’s annoying if it keeps logging the other one out of the app. I understand if you are both using at the exact same time it wouldn’t let you but removing you off the app every time can be really really annoying.
Overall this is a good camera for the price I paid. I would be happy to have more around the place if I needed them.
